What do you mean lost? They are 10-0 maybe I’m confused.
Who are the 3 people who can honestly give this a thumbs down!! This is incredible ????
Beth pitched for Florida in College. I don’t think you’re giving her enough credit.
We have to also remember that Heavener is the only one who hasn’t given up an earned run in the fall so far out of all of the pitchers, including Berzon. We know how elite Berzon is so that is saying something. This team will be fine. They are young and deserve a chance to settle in with the full support of their fans.
Sorry, I meant to like your comment, not dislike it. Please disregard that part. Lol
They didn’t post the scores, but against Louisiana Tech, it was like 15-0, against Northwest Florida it was like 8-1 or 2. Don’t hold me to that again I’m going off of memory, but it was a lot too a little on both I don’t even know if we know who the starters are yet. They lost 7 starters last year. Coffey did not play and reportedly will not play till the spring.
I was there. Again, 3 of the 5 pitchers were really good. Very impressed with the Lefty Freshman, Heevner. Hitting was better Sunday but still needs work. Definitely going to need hitters.
Pitchers looked really good. The Freshman will be good. You can’t tell by fall scrimmage games. They are still getting comfortable. Everybody ease up dang it’s October. Really liked the new Lefty Freshman pitcher and Sydney is elite. Keep working ladies.
The pitching looked really good last night. Hitting was awful. Really like the freshman Lefty pitcher. Sydney was amazing as always.
Heavener has mild tendinitis in her shoulder. She is resting it so it can heal. She hasn’t pitched since Gainesville because she pitched so much in high school and that’s what caused the tendinitis. She will be ready to go for us. You can’t tell anything in these games. One strike out because of one at bat on multiple girls. There were 26 total strikeouts that game. You can’t go off of that. It’s exhibition only. There’s no way you can say I would rather have One girl over another, just by that. If that were the case, Fishers team wouldn’t have been knocked out early because she got hit with no bat support. Heavener played against Oxley in the Florida Statr Championship game. Heavener struck out the first at bat but then put Oxley in the trees for a two run shot during her second at bat. That was the game decider. These one at bat games mean nothing. Guaranteed the girls that we got are the real deal.
She gets hit a lot. She is not a strikeout pitcher. It’s really hard to tell in one inning or two. her team was knocked out early and she was pitching.

In coming Freshman, Destiny Harris will be huge in the OF as well. This will be a nice combo!
They have ventured into Softball now. They have PG softball.

I love this program, and I want to see it be successful. I’m certainly not going to get involved in nor entertain some of the other comments from people that start bashing travel teams, coaches, and certainly not a kid. Any 16 year old girl can be a diva at any given point.Lol, it doesn’t take away from their talent. Fact of the matter is, the kid received multiple full ride offers from most of the SEC and other power 5 school to include OU so coaches that are better and smarter than us must’ve seen the same thing Beth saw. Same thing with Harris playing at high-level 16s. No one knows until they get here and we actually see how they perform. I hope they all perform the way we want them to. My opinion, we have had pitchers that have pitched well enough to get us where we want to go, but we just haven’t had the consistent bat support. I hope it all comes together. I can’t wait to see you were looking at in the 2025 class.

She had 22 IP, 6 H, 41 K and a 0.96 ERA and, like you said, her team won the title. For good measure, she batted .529 with 3 HR and 10 RBI.
Also saw on social media where the kid took a line drive to the face and still came back same day to win the semifinal and had to close out the final. Kid has grit, I know that.

Heavener
Speaking on Heavener, I’m gonna have to disagree with you. I don’t know what game you watched but she shut down every team she faced and they won it all. She is incredible!!!
They have another blonde lefty that is 2025. Maybe that is the one you saw. Heavener is legit!
