Why is is presumed that amnesty would create a larger Dem voting block? Hispanic culture tends to be very catholic and with that one could think that some of the social issues that are pushed by Dems would tend to sway the vote to the Republicans. Also would the addition of 10 million tax payers have an adverse affect on the economy? Presumably most are working at some job now just not paying income tax.

As stated the south end of the lake by twin dykes is wide open. If you are looking for a party Rattle snake island will be the place. But it is a big arse lake so you can also avoid all of that as well. If you are going to be staying in Rayburn Country, bring your golf clubs, if you play, the course is in great shape. One of the most beautiful lakes in the south. Be looking for the bald eagles and black squirrels.

The bass have been shallow and weightless flukes have been producing nice fish.

I currently have two car payments.
The First one I could pay off immediately.
The other I could pay down a significant portion of the loan. But not able to do both.

Everything points to paying off the first one immediately. But my question is why? If the payment is close to term haven’t I already paid the largest portion of interest. If I have a better rate on the first should I not try to pay-down the loan with the higher rate first?

Anyone else? Plan on running lines this coming weekend... Anyone seeing shrimp in the surf?

I can and plan to use the chucks (Apple and Hickory) Thinking of trying chicken wings first? Looks like a few hour smoke time then on the pit to crisp up the skin. Any hints or suggestions?

Need something that is difficult to mess-up, with temp variations because of Chips catching on fire etc
