I got GBS from a flue shot in 2020, Hands and feet are still pretty numb. Was fine one day and 72 hours later could hardly walk. 4 nights in hospital getting immuno globulin treatments at 45K a pop, 8 weeks of physical therapy and occupational therapy. Don't wish that shite on anyone.
I got Guillian Barre Syndrom from the common flu shot in Dec 2020. Have a current case in the VICP program. Lawyer says with my documentation its a slam dunk. We will see. Would rather have all of my feeling back in my hands and feet!
I believe you have up to 3 years to file a claim, you might look into it for her. There is a list of lawyers on the VICP website. Thanks for the well wishes!
It definitely sucked! Worst shite I have ever been through. Lawyer said I had a very strong case with the documentation I kept, should get something out of it. First flu shot I ever had (52) will never get another one. Lawyer said that the government is denying 99% of covid vaccine claims. Total bullshite!
I actually have a pending case in the VICP. Had a normal flu shot in December 2020, 30 days later I couldn't walk and hands and feet were numb. The vaccine caused Guillian Barre Syndrome. Had 4 nights in hospital with Immuno Globulin treatments to stop from progressing. 6 weeks of PT and OT. I still can't feel my toes. Program pays the lawyer fees whether I get compensated or not.

The Aleva angle on suspensions

Posted by bopossum on 8/26/11 at 11:01 am
Aleva was at Duke during the Lacrosse team incident. If you remember, they acted too fast and kicked the kids off the team, only later to discover the biatch was lying and the players were innocent. Then the players families sued the school for mucho $$$$$$$. Aleva does not want that to happen again. My 2 cents.

Just met a former Tiger!

Just spent an hour talking with Gary C. (Curtis) Gore in my office in ATL. Lettered from 82-85, All SEC OG in 85. Had some really cool stories about Joe Dean, the 82 Orange Bowl etc. Real down to earth guy. Owns a contracting company here in ATL. Going to get together this fall to watch the Tigers play. I know CSB!
The Jack Crevalle are running right now too. Hook something that feels like a vw beetle and you better hold on.
Fish were at 18-22', get to shallow and all you get are blacktails.
No 8 dollar croakers, free pinfish caught on a bream hook. They are a blast to catch. Caught 8-12 every afternoon for a week.

(Is your house paid off)

No but I plan on paying it off as soon as I sell my lake house. We built well before the "boom" market (1998) so we are in great shape on it. Getting tired of making 1.125 in a money market account. Probably going to buy a distressed property or 2.
I may only have 26 posts but I aint putting my e-mail on here.

Metro Atlanta. There are some steals to be had now and will be it looks like for a while.

(What did the advisor advise)

He actually advised me to put it into real estate since I don't need to touch it for 15 to 20 years. In our market, I can buy 2-3 nice rental properties on the cheap right now.
