For sure something is going on, no doubt about it. And we do not need these distractions right now.

By the way, I never realized how many flip-floppers we had on this forum! The Miles March was just a couple days ago and now people are saying he's been screwing up all year pulling games out of his arse? You stand behind him when he wins and then you stab him in the back and say that Skip should fire him? :geauxtigers:

Wow really? Coming from someone who lives in fricking Oklahoma? You can have your shitty little state and I will stay here in my comfy little city...

H-Town, you're right. No, he's not a slam dunk right coach for them but obviously Michigan and especially their fans want him and he seems to have reciprocating feelings towards UM. Check out this piece from Michigan's AD...From Det Freepress
But now that the search is on, Martin made it clear that he will investigate his primary coaching candidates as thoroughly as the White House would a Cabinet appointee. He has watched news conferences, to see how coaches handle the thrust and parry of media interrogation. He has promised a meticulous background scrutiny.
"I want to know how many driving-under-the-influence (citations) a potential coach has had," he said. "I want to know if he's a deadbeat in terms of paying his bills. I want to know anything that is a pattern in terms of past behavior that could be an embarrassment to Michigan."
Is it necessary for such a painstaking search process when there's possibly only one guy on the list?
"Martin declined to comment on whether LSU coach -- and, more important, Michigan alum -- Les Miles is a candidate. It's a delicate situation. U-M's reputation would endure a devastating hit if seen tampering with another team's coach, particularly if that team sits on the verge of a possible national championship."

Sheek, yea its buzzing and its only Tuesday. Brian Kelly getting some press too but its more centered around Michigan tradition, Bo, etc.

No BigJ, I got your post, I am acting like a dumbass just like you were when you brought back bad memories with the whole Bob McConnell BS...

Agreed with Miles or Kelly but inside sources close to the program also are including Bob McConnell as a dark horse candidate

Great response BigJ, you have proved my point, you are a retard. Instead of posting childish emoticons, how about you give an intelligent response? Or is your TT brain too small and that's how they taught you at TT, with pictures?

No Slow, I don't believe that he is a genius, I was making fun of the post above me talking about Bob McConnell. But I do think that Bo Pelini is someone that should be considered.

BigJ, are you thick headed too, you ignoramus? OK, so Bob's been helping Tom Brady prepare in the offseason? Oh sweet, can't wait for that hire! I can hear it now, "but but but he helped Tom Brady in the offseason!!" Maybe they should put you on the search committee BigJ so you can give your retarded insight like that! This has nothing to do with Bob McConnell's abilities but the fact that Pelini would be the most seamless hire, is relatively young and has experience at big time programs...

Big J, it has nothing to do with Bob McConnell and a lack of respect. It has to do with your asinine comment when I mentioned Pelini as a candidate, you came back and laughed and said go away. Then I asked you to give me your list and you give me Bob McConnell?? That's all I'm saying here. You obviously want to get into a pissing match but if it were my call and I had to pick Bo Pelini or Bob McConnell, I know that it would be Pelini 10 out of 10 times.

Pelini is a defensive genius.

Your gonna post this :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: Go Away and then come back with Bob McConnell?? You're kidding me right? You really would rather have Bob freaking McConnell over Bo Pelini?? WOW
re: Carr Retires as Michigan's Coach...

BigJ, Since my inferior wisdom led to two candidates that you do not agree with, why don't you stick your neck out there and give us your candidates? Since you have 34,000++ posts I thought that you would have already done that? Go away?? Why?

Jack Del Rio?? Really? That's who you folks are pining for?? Come on!! LSU can do MUCH better than Jack Del Rio! Its just that he is an NFL coach and should stay in the NFL! Spurrier, Fisher, Pellini, Tuberville anybody but Jack Del Rio!

"Supah is right, Miles is not the type of guy those arrogant, wanna be Ivy Leaguers at UM want as the face of the school."
-Huh? You're kidding right? Have you guys been paying attention this season? Miles is Schembechler to a T all the way down to the hat! They do want him as the face of their program no doubt as to whether they are arrogant wanna be Ivy Leaguer's is beside the point...

More importantly, doesn't anyone find this distracting to the team in regards to LSU's game on Friday, SEC champ. game next week and throughout the month of Dec. leading up to NCG? Who cares who is the replacement if there will ever be a need for one now. Regardless of whether he leaves, I really liked Miles' answers yesterday in the press conference but I am a bit worried that players, coaches, etc get caught up in this type of thing? Any thoughts?
