Iceland - Late March
Posted by lsutiger_2002 on 10/2/25 at 7:51 pm
Going to Iceland in late March and looking for some recommendations. Will be staying near the "rainbow street" and have a week there. Will be 3 or 4 of us in our group who enjoy the outdoors. Anyone have any trip/tour companies they have used and had a good experience with? Any food /bar recommendations for in Reykjavík? Anyone have experience renting a car, if so would you recommend it? Looking for any advice in general/Do's or Don'ts. TYIA.
Road Trip Itinerary?
Posted by lsutiger_2002 on 12/19/23 at 10:14 pm
Looking to go on a road trip this summer. In the early planning stage and was wondering if anyone has any experience or itineraries from a similar trip they have gone on in the past? Preferably going west from Baton Rouge into New Mexico and Arizona to see national parks that way but not opposed to other parts of the country. Thinking about being gone for 12-15 days but not positive on that.

Going to Austin in a couple of weeks for a bachelor party and was looking for some recommendations for bars, restaurants, activities, and golf. We thought about getting a boat on lake travis but wasn't sure if it would be worth the drive and price because we are staying in east austin, anyone know something similar that is located closer to east austin? TYIA

Did you plan in advance and reserve your spot on the trains? I have been looking for in July and there is significantly less trains than if I was going to be traveling this upcoming weekend. I assume they will add more as the summer gets closer. Yea I have class in the first two timeslots so I will be done by 10:50 every day. Thanks for all the info.

Yea that's it. Did you mostly use the EUrail to travel or fly? Also, how was the course work compared to your home university?

What would you say the best way to get from Innsbruck to the Dolomites? The EUrail?
