Had the chance to spend and hour or so with Kayshon today at a signing in Shreveport. He seems like a good kid, soft-spoken. He stated that he’s been rehabbing a lot and was great with everyone that came through.

I asked his handler if having him sign all of this purple and gold was a good idea moving forward. He told me Kayshon was “100% LSU” and that he’s wanted to play for the Tigers forever.

He said that he wishes everyone would stay on campus instead of transferring (referring to Max and Myles) but that he understands. He said he’s ready to get a QB in that wants to be a Tiger.

Let’s hope #1 stays and gives us one more great season, Geaux Tigers!

Long time listener, first time caller.

I swear, you’d think this program was spiraling out of control by some of the posts on here. Clearly some of you forgot that building a program back up is a process. A new regime will bring change. We’ve won a championship with the past three coaches we’ve had, why can’t we just be positive and expect more of the same moving forward with CBK.

Losing Corey Raymond is a blow to the recruiting aspect of things but I don’t believe it’s going to extend much past that. Frank Wilson will handle that aspect and I’m sure Coach will bring in someone he expects to take on the role and do so successfully.

Losing players to the portal and de-commitments is also part of it. The players lost will be replaced and we will all move on.
