It's time to blow up the NCAA as a whole and hold these presidents accountable

Seriously. Why do these coaches need a 100 million dollar contracts and then these presidents pretend to wonder why college and universities are so expensive?
Since 1980, the average cost of college has risen by 1200%. The average US grad from an SEC school holds 30K in debt for a 4 year degree. Schools would rather install giant pools then lower the cost of attending. :lol:
Oh sure, these football athletes get a free ride on scholarships, but what about those who get hurt or worse cut? I'm not giving LSU a dime and i'm having my son learn a real trade like welding over basket weaving studies at LSU.
Either adopt the European model where it's truly amateur and let them develop a minor league system with the NFL or GTFO. You can keep the traditions, rivalry's etc but don't tell me these folks aren't grifters and conman.

How would you deal with a bad and lazy careless co-worker?

So, I work in archives pushing papers and working as a notary for a medium to large university (redacted for obvs reasons) HR hires a boomer to oversea our collection. Fine. The problem is he has no history of working in a university or prior experience with metadata, collections or old Dewy! (You need a master's degree in museum studies or Information Science - he has an MBA in finance).
Anytime a mistake is made, and pointed out they lose their shite like Bill Burr does on stage. Ten people in our department have already filled complaints about his behavior and sexual remarks towards our female coworkers. The biggest problem we've noticed? They don't care about learning to improve! :rotflmao: :banghead:
The problem is they are best buddies with a high ranking sports coach, athletic director and the university president. they all felt bad - they were fired from a job on wall street and bam they get a job here without any sorta proper hiring process. Worse of all - they somehow managed to lose valuable primary sources of Andrew Jackson in the process without taking any of the blame!
What would you do ot lounge? Should I start looking else where for a job? :wah: :banghead: :banghead: :wah:

Woke up in the middle of the night to a loud bang

I had a hard time falling asleep last night after watching Yellowstone and I don't know what woke me up, but I woke up about an hour ago and got out off my couch and bumped into something in my condo near my bedroom and bathroom. I was still awake, so it took me a few seconds to figure out what was going on. A pack of racoons wandered into our house or thought it had happened before. I asked myself what the hell they was doing in my condo, and they froze and ofc animals cant talk.
Of course my 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son wanders in what was going on. I told her that someone made a mistake and entered the wrong place. At this point my adrenaline levels are rising, but I had to calm them down and get them to fall asleep again.
To make matters worse, these critters stole off with my pot brownies and christmas cookies. How do you get rid of these dang critters in BR? I have a funny feeling my daughter had been feeding them :banghead: :banghead:

Seriously. At the YMCA, after showing, I saw a buff dude in an LSU tigers jersey wearing lululemon women's yoga pants. How did America become so soft and pansy? What's the appeal of wearing yoga pants? :banghead: :usa:

Can someone explain this to me? I lost a few friends and family due to the spread of misinformation and conspiracy theories on facebook.
From cancer being linked to 5G cell phones and so forth. The real swamp is facebook and them collecting "metadata" to build a bias algorithm against us conservatives as Trump said on the campaign. Why didn't Trump go after him during his presidency and have him face legal charges? Why is there a media black out on people's privacy being eroded to spy on us? There is a link between their wonky algorithm and political violence in unstable countries. He changed the name of Meta just when a whistleblower called him on his shite. Yeah, real coincidence. All Zuck and his cronies care about is money and not transparency. Tell me, how is that a fair and just democracy while the middle class gets screwed over by Silicon Valley? They ruined SF, Austin, Portland and LA by pricing every one out.
When will the masses wake up to the corporate tech overlords screwing them over?
