Pete McCulley was fired after starting out 1-8 with San Francisco in 1978, and Sid Gillman lasted only 10 games in his second stint as San Diego coach, going 4-6 in 1971 before quitting.

I nominate you, Mr. Greeny. Golic please get a babysitter for your little co host next time you are not in studio. Your rant about Les Miles talking to Michigan was the worst I have ever heard on any news media. In no point did you have a legitimate arguement about Miles talking to Michigan. You described it as the most dispicable thing in sports (wow a day after the Vick trial, unbelievable). Miles spoke to Michigan because he is an alumnus answering some concerns they have about their program and the coaching search. So heres a big JUST SHUT UP to you Greeny from all of us Bayou Bengals out in Tiger Nation, now please tell the rest of your co workers (cough cough Herbstreet) that before reporting outlandish breaking news that perhaps they should stop take a deep breath and think about the facts before revealing the "scoop."

jeez people he said he wished he could be in two places at once but he can't. yes he wil always have a place for michigan in his heart and will root for them but he is the LSU coach and he is not going anywhere. I would have figured after seeing this conference that the michigan rumors would be done but damn rantards still can't let it rest and focus on the second crystal ball that will be coming to baton rouge!

one problem with Jo Pa. Most games in Tiger Stadium are at night and if on CBS last 5 plus hours, no way he would be able to stay awake the entire game ( see Orange Bowl)
