You hit the nail on the head. Huntsville was surrounded by cotton fields and was far smaller geographically than it is now. The city limits now going to the west comes across I-65. The growth (like most things I guess) has it's positives but it also has it's negatives.

Well I haven't tried to turn it back on yet since it smoked so bad. I guess I could try again before the HVAC guy comes (whenever that's going to be) I don't guess it could hurt anything else???

So we turned the heat on last week to get the dust and other stuff burned off while we had the windows open getting ready for cooler weather. Well one of the vents in the kitchen starts to have full blown smoke coming out of it. Certainly smelled like something was burning. Smoked up the house.

My heat/cool guy hasn't been able to work me in yet so was curious if it could be from a rats nest or something like that inside the unit? Course it could be something with the unit itself but won't know till the guy comes out. Just curious in the meantime? Thanks!

Just had our county sheriff of 40 years found guilty on 2 class B felonies for basically using the sheriff's office as his personal bank and the vast majority of it was due to his gambling. He even lost his retirement because the convictions came while he was still in office.

This guy gambled his retirement away basically and he did make around $130K a year. Tragic but he did it to himself. As of right now his is sitting in his own jail locked up. Can't make that up. Hope the link works.

Well after 800 hours on the belt it finally gave way. Been looking on the net about how to do it but not finding much. Any idea how difficult it is to change the mower belt?
