re: Official College Baseball Stadium Review

Has no one been to Sunken Diamond at Stanford? It's a great place to watch a game. The new stadium at the University of San Diego has the best view.

You mind giving us a quick summary of strengths and weaknesses of y'all team?
We've got a pretty solid starting pitching rotation that kept us in just about every game. The trouble on the mound has come from our bullpen - which going into the season looked to be pretty damn strong but for whatever reason hasn't been. Our closer came in as a preseason All-American, but has struggled mightily.
Our hitting hasn't been bad, but we've had a serious problem of leaving runners on base (particularly during the middle of the season). We are patient at the plate and draw a lot of free passes. The heart of our lineup, now healthy, looks pretty good with Tyler Smith, Michael Conforto (conference freshman of the year for sure), and Danny Hayes. John Tommasinni is an excellent glove at 2nd base, but is almost an automatic out at the plate.
The biggest weakness (other than the bullpen) is a lack of team speed. We've typically had a lot of it under Pat Casey, but this year's squad has very little. You won't see many attempted steals from OSU.

Yes, it made thee footing on extra points very slippery..
The biggest problem was on the INT return in the first quarter - our lighting fast safety got sucked in by the mud as if he were in the Fire Swamp.

The Beaver fans were great in BR back in 2004 when we played them in football.
Hopefully the weather will be better this time.
Could it possibly be worse? Looked like the apocolypse - that was some homefield advantage right there.

Maybe FSN in the Pacific Northwest will carry the feed?
FSN here will have something important to carry - like more boring Mariner baseball. Fox Sports Seattle more like it.

but LSU should be able to win this regional easily though
The #2 and #5 seeds couldn't win series against OSU, so might want to not get too ahead of yourself.

So what should we know about your Tigers? OSU appears to be peaking at the right time, we shall see.

Oh man, I didn't know this was serious. It was just another fark. Aren't UO and OSU rivals?
As bitter as they come, at least west of the Mississippi. Mike Riley is just a very nice guy - the rest of Beaver Nation will revel in their downfall.

Locker was agonizingly accurate
Locker was 24-44 - not exactly all-world. One thing Jake Locker has never been accused of is being an accurate passer.

You guys didn't look so hot - don't interpret that as UW being anywhere near good. PAC-10 offenses will eat them alive just like last year. UW a bowl team?! LOL!
