They would if they were being fed lies by CB’s VP who was trying to sabotage the company for his personal gain.

But I’m out guys, praying for all involved here and hope that things can be resolved amicably.
It’s a crappy situation, sure. I just know Kelly, and he would have never intentionally done anything that would hurt his employees like this.. he’s always gone above and beyond to do right by his employees since I’ve known him.. he was just put in a bad spot when Nationwide and BCBS blind sighted him.

Just to clarify, when I said upper management failed him, I mostly mean Devon.
I’ve talked to other people that there that weekend too and they said the lines were insane so I believe him. It was the week of Mardi Gras break.
From what I’ve been told the company paid the premiums at the end of every quarter. When Nationwide blind sighted them by dropping their bonds and taking ALL income 2 years ago right before premiums were due to be paid, they nearly bankrupted the company and there was no money left to pay them. But to date, i know that CB has paid everything owed to BCBS but BCBS still went back and denied some coverage to former employees for about a month over 2 years ago. It’s sad that BCBS didn’t care about the employees and didn’t help the situation.

As for PPP, I know that CB had a huge contract on the horizon in 2020 that would have given hundreds of people jobs when started but Devon wanted that contract for himself too so he launched the first of many smear campaigns against CB. Oh, did I forget to mention that Devon was the lead on the Sunshine Bridge project and in charge of running the job..
I’m an old friend of Kellys, he’s personally helped me out in the past and I hate to see this bs against him.

I’ve heard the Disney story, he had his temp checked 3 times that day before entering Disney Springs and was told by a guy without uniform to walk 45 mins the other direction to get to the opposite entrance where he’d have to wait another hour in a temp check line and he was frustrated and asked the guy to bring the thermometer to him bc he just wanted to have dinner with his kids who were already inside.. I’m not saying he was completely right but I don’t think the punishment fits the crime.
False. Devon Overall is actually the son of Ed Milner’s business partner though.. which granted him a VP title when he was old enough.
Nope, Not Kelly. Kelly isn’t perfect but he’s done a lot of good for a lot of people in his life and doesn’t deserve this bs. Everyone on here clearly just wants a show and isn’t interested in the actual truth.
Lets formally introduce everyone to scarletto, aka Kathleen Malone. She’s a lady who sits at home and has nothing better to do than hide behind her computer and try to ruin other people’s lives to make her feel better about her own. When she worked for CB over 2 years ago she did nothing but blab her mouth about every HR issue and spilled personal, confidential employee information (a HIPPA violation) to everyone and their mom.
Her new best friend is Kelly Smith Hernandez, CB’s former HR director who now works at Coastal Contractors, run by Devon Overall, CB’s former VP. Kelly Sills has paid for Devon’s MBA and helped him out tremendously over the years. Because of Devon’s jealously and entitlement, he did a ton of shady things to kelly (while employed at CB as the VP) and stole equipment and land from Kelly. Devon instigated Nationwide dropping the bonds at CB so that Coastal Contractors could get all the work and revenue back in 2019. Maybe Nak should do a little due diligence and take his cameras across the road to Coastal Contractors whose brand new office is filled with stolen equipment paid for by Coastal Bridge.
There are multiple sides to every story but Kelly Sills, who trusted his top level employees (and paid them well) to do the job he hired them to do, failed him. And that’s how all of this started.
