No cap, let me spill the tea—Coach Johnson is straight fire. No doubt I was a little sus, even big mad when LSU made the hire. Thought it was mittens. I was shook, but I did a little research and Jay absolutely SLAYS. Definitely a glow up. Now I’m 100% high key excited. LSU is so snatched right now and I can’t wait to flex in the big ones. We have a dank CEO, fam. Going to be so extra my dudes!

Pelini lost the locker room because of a variety of reasons; personality, coaching style, communication, etc. Like it or not, leadership and empathy are important to a team. I'm not saying Jones is the best hire of all time. I'm saying he's a great hire, particularly because he's not like Pelini-who obviously was a bad hire.

Pelini wasn't a bad coach, he just was not the right fit for one reason or another. Jones is the complete opposite direction. He'll put our athletes where they need to be and he'll bring the energy.

Daronte Jones' coaching style is different from Bo Pelini. He'll have the locker room, and he'll lead with charisma. Kudos to coach O for thoughtfully picking a DC. I'm excited about next season.

Coach O has an extensive defensive background, and he's sure as heck going to be staying out of the offensive play calling next year. He'll literally have nothing to do on the sidelines except yell at refs unless we let him call the defense. Plus we'll save a little money. Nothing wrong with that.
