Galvanized democrats. They were very split in 2016 because Hillary was so polarizing and the Bernie supporters felt she stole the nomination. They are a United OMB front now.
I’ve heard this a lot in my travels. A lot of people feel the country needs to “heal” and admit Trumps policies are better but there’s just too much division.

The man won on the premise of draining the swamp. Did all these fools just expect all the swamp creatures to just go gently into the night? The division means Trump is doing exactly what he was voted to do and he needs to finish the job.

Exactly.

Money. And greed.

There’s big bucks to be made from controlling people to think (and vote) a certain way.
They’ll say he has access to medical care others don’t and use it as a platform for universal healthcare.
They can raise taxes on that top 1% all the way to 95% and it won’t matter a bit if they don’t remove all the loopholes and write offs. The super wealthy pay a fraction as it is. Taxes and insurance both are the biggest jokes.

Exactly my point. Why expect sympathy now?
It all depends on how sick he gets. If he’s asymptomatic and still campaigning hard it won’t really affect anything. I don’t see much sympathy from the vote or the media. I think the media and Dems are going to hammer him as being reckless and catching it. It’s a bold strategy on their part that could blow up in their face but don’t think for a minute they’re not celebrating this.

This is the 100% correct answer.

Because the people who benefit from lobbying make the laws about lobbying

Trumps humbling answer on white supremacy was his worst point by far. MSM is hammering him for it, claiming he “refused” to denounce white supremacy. He didn’t refuse, he just didn’t do it as dramatically as the moment deserved. The only refusal came from Biden on packing the court, and he even gave a reason for his refusal as it would become “the issue”. Imagine that, running for President and refusing to give your position on a major issue as it might become unpopular. What a world.

I had never heard of it either. I did some research and I found it telling that neither SPLC nor ACLU deem it as white supremacist. Just a hate group.

Trump is getting hammered over not “denouncing” them and all White supremacist. His record says otherwise so he should’ve driven that point home.
For the record, Biden claimed he was the man for the economy because he knew how to safely open everything back up while simultaneously claiming that more black people were going to die unless they put him in charge of shutting everything down and protecting us.

Also, he’s so noble and empathetic and cares so much about us all he couldn’t possibly tell us now how to save ourselves from deadly covid because, after all, he’s not an elected official.

He missed so many opportunities. He got a little too caught up in tearing Biden down. I think he stuck to his strategy but I really hope he hammers on the above in the future (if there are any) debates.
I was disappointed there was no mention of the historic peace deal Trump administered in the Middle East. They hammer him over divisiveness yet he brokered a peace deal between the two most tumultuous groups in history. At least a mention of it or the 3 Nobel peace price nominations or Trump using it as a response to the racial divide rhetoric would’ve been impactful.
Definitely had Joe with a nervous look on his face when he said “Joe we have you on tape. It was your idea”
Proves that what he thinks his platform is differs greatly from what his handlers are peddling. But he is the democrat party and whatnot.

As much as it pains me, I agree. Biden got several sound bites from tonight that will be replayed constantly. Trump kept getting lost.
If they were truly so terrified they wouldn’t be blatantly breaking the law in manners which cause their interactions with those they fear so much.

If you don’t vote for me, you ain’t black!
