If I'm not mistaken, LSU remains the National Champion of College football. Miss. State is, well, Miss. State. I think it could be a typical scary game with those rubes, but I think the Tigers will steamroll those crackers in the end.

I'm hoping Brennan has his head on straight.

It's likely that the team will be playing much better football by the end of October, based on past experience.
Right now, it's much more a matter of foolish mistakes than lack of talent.

All those comments about Republican tyranny. How the frick is this tyranny?

I don't know about "tyranny", but it sure seems like a double standard and hypocrisy( not to mention a power grab). In the end, the GOP will get bitten in the arse. Plus, you really can't reliably predict any justice's vote in a specific case.

Except for the guys who become completely verklempt and totally lose their shite over a few football players taking a knee as a form of protest.

I don't know, this doesn't seem harmless. This seems like an excuse to watch a bunch of sexualized preteens for nothing more than prurient reasons.

As suggestive as those descriptions sound, unless one has seen the scenes and context within the film, it's impossible to make an informed judgment.
The filmmaker is a woman who has expressly criticized and objected to the social media pressure on young girls to be more sexual. I think that's the point of her work.

The vast majority of the criticism of her movie(not surprisingly) has come from people who have never seen the film.
That is quite typical, sadly, when it comes to moral outrage over movies, books, etc. Clueless people tend to pile on.

what I have always felt like he meant.

Of course that's what he meant, but some fans allowed their emotions to cause them to post reactionary nonsense. One poster even suggested that Brees was an emotional wreck.
Do you have some inside intel, or are you using some sort of extraorcinary deductive reasoning?

The players going preteen girls

Can someone tell what the hell this is about? I honestly don't know, although someone asked me if I knew anything about an issue involving pre-teen girls being related to
the Drew Brees controversy.

Those who choose not to watch in order to make a point are on a fool's errand, imo. I don't pay any attention to messages on the back of a helmet or scribbled on a jersey. It's easy to ignore, and I know that the team and the NFL are not advocating Marxist violence. Nor are they supporting rapists. It's all in yo haids, baws.
