I just replaced mine. Stay away from AO Smith. They are using cheaper parts now and the reviews were bad. I know Rheem is on the cheaper side but I ended up purchasing a Bradford White. The Bradford White had better reviews. I replaced a Bradford White that was 22yrs old....

It is definitely insane the house prices in California. I live in Kensington which is in the Berkeley Hills. According to Redfin we are at $928sqft. Houses that go on the market are purchased immediately well over asking. I think the SF crowd looking to leave the city are jumping on Real Estate ...

My wife (no pics) gets them all the time. Her go to is sniffing an onion. Fortunately I do not get them so no idea if it works but she claims that it clears it up in a couple of days. Hope you feel better!...

I live near Berkeley CA. The price varies from $4.30 to over $5.00 in SF. I guess its all relative. My house has gone up 30% to 40% over the last couple of years. Eventually I will cash out and retire somewhere with cheap gas prices....
