Ole man, this is Bobby Neese, you may have meant Harry Neese when talking about Al Michael, as my Dad, Harry was the pro at City Park and Webb for many years. In the old days when my Dad was winning local amateur tournaments in Baton Rouge, Westdale golf course was the LSU golf course with the Hebert brothers, I think Freddie Haas (the guy that ended Byron Nelson's 11 PGA tournament win streak) was there too along with Gardner Dickinson, among others. Harry won the BR City Tournament in 1960 and turned club pro for City Park shortly after. Thanks for the memories. I would be curious as to who your Dad was, as I may have known him.
