re: Crepinsek Safety Squat Bar Review

Thought I'd comment on the Crepinsek SSB.
I've had mine for almost 30 years. I ordered it pre-internet days from a magazine. I used it for several years regularly then it sat for a while. Started using it again regularly every week for the last 2 years. It is in great condition, the padding is still just like new. The bar is fantastic. Perfectly balanced so you don't even need handles -which is how I've used it most of the time I've owned it until recently. I use it for all kinds of squats and good mornings.
I recently got some wide grip heavy duty stubby handles for it from Ralph to make good mornings a little easier. They are not necessary at all but thought they'd help. Pretty cool that I could upgrade a 30 year old bar!
Anyhow, just my 2 cents but I think its a fantastic piece of equipment and Ralph is a stand up guy. Oh and if anyone is wondering, there are several styles of handles you can get for it and he has replacement padding and covers too.
I can totally recommend the Crepinsek SSB. Pretty sure there is none better including the eliteFTS bar though I would not hesitate to purchase that either.
