re: Those who attended the game

This was our 4 trip to Ttown, we always enjoy the trip no matter the outcome of the game.

Tailgate
Grumps have tame tailgating with lame music (Sweet Home Alabama heard 15 times throughout the day. Tiger tailgates sounded like a rave jamming out and having fun.

Team entrance
Grumps no band just team walking into stadium to AC/DC Thunderstruck was very generic.

Pregame
Billion $ band not that impressive hard to hear did not have the build up of excitement that the Tiger Band brings to pregame and a lot of old Paul Bear Brant videos that were hard to hear.

Sideline DJ/Cheer leader annoying. Light show was cool.

Game
Grumps have the Roll Tide cheer down pat since they had a ton of First Downs but no real distinguished cheers for other downs or change of possessions that I noticed like we have for every down.

Grumps around us (upper deck) were nice to us and seamed a little nervous and reserved at first but got cocking once up by 14 in the 4th quarter which was understandable, I would be too if we were about to win.

Did not show the late hit on JD5 on the video board so we really did not know how bad it was till we listen to post game on radio on the way home which brings me to traffic out of the area, it is just as bad as Baton Rouge.

Overall it does not compare to the pageantry of Tiger Stadium but it is the best away game experience you will find in the SEC.

Predictions on start time for Army game.

For all the start time experts out there, what will be the kick off time for the Army game.

re: A&M Visitor Section

Thanks for the info, hopefully there will be plenty of cheep tickets.
Was in Denver for the weekend and can confirm that Stoney's is a great LSU Bar. Watched the Arkansas game that kicked off at 10:00 A.M local time, even with the early start had a great atmosphere.

A&M Visitor Section

Posted by Gate4 on 11/13/22 at 10:16 am
Taking a road trip to A&M what section in Kyle Field will the Tiger Band be Sitting? Want to find a ticket close to the band and visitor section.

Also any predictions on game time start?
We have made this trip twice (bluegrass Miracle and 3 OT game) and we always bet the pony's on the Friday before at Keenland while drinking mint juleps. Hope to get to make the trip again this year.
Buying tickets on game day at any stadium is a pure commodities market environment. Tickets are like any fruit or vegetable they have a shelf life, and once the game starts the tickets that are left become worthless by the end of the first quarter. So many variables go into determining what you should pay for tickets such as Seat location, Weather, Time of Day, Opponent, W/L record, early crowd, traffic, local scalping laws. You must evaluate each event and bring sufficient cash to make a good deal. Don't get in a hurry and be patient you will always be able to find a ticket.

re: Thoughts on Dan Borne

Dan is great! When I was asked to announce a High School Football game in 2002 I had no clue what I was going to do, but I knew who to call. I got in touch with Dan and he invited me to the press box 4 hours before the start of for the next home game. He help me out with different announcements and gave me lots of good advice. A few years back I attended one of his LHSAA PA announcing clinics. If you are a PA announcer I highly recommend it.
or know what channel on Sirius XM?

re: Going to Auburn w/o Tickets

I have never been to Aub without tickets but have had no problem finding tickets at other away venues such as MSU, BAMA, and KY. Going to drive all night Friday night and start looking for tickets early when we get there. Does anybody know what section the Band is going to be in?
Never been to Aub, it will be a Thursday night decision for the 4 of us if we are going. Still looking for tickets, can you find tickets outside stadium before the game for a reasonable price?

The Key word on the original post is "Free".
98.1 was about 8 to 10 seconds ahead of DTV.
Where can you get a free radio broadcast that can be delayed to match up better with Satellite viewing of the games so we do not have to listen to ESPN biased announcers anymore?
