Two months ago when I said BI was a problem everyone called me a troll.
I agree, but I'm not sold on Ingram yet, I think people like him because he gets a lot of points, but he gets a lot of points because he takes too many shots. He's one constant ISO/turnover machine. I'd rather see Hart start at the 3.

The young guys proved last night they can play a team game and protect the ball. Ingram accounted for 4 of our 9 turnovers

And I have no idea why Melli is still in the NBA. He has 14 points in almost 89 minutes of play. I'd day trade him, but I don't think anybody would want him.
Gentry is his guy. I know he was here before, but in every interview i saw him do early and preseason he talked about how well they worked together in phoenix and that gentry was the guy for the future of the pels.

I think if we make the playoffs, griff will keep him, and that worries me
Okafor got a foul, scored no points, and only managed 2 rebounds, so he's just as bad as what you're saying Jax is,

If Jax had gone in, i don't think he could've done much worse, but let's assume, he scores no points and only gets one rebound. losing that rebound is well worth the development.
Exactly, Okafor doesn't solve any problems, and he just takes away important development time for a future centerpiece.

Jax must've said something about Gentry's wife or something.
With the rarest of exceptions Okafor is awful when he's on the court.

I think Jax is the better option always, but especially when Favors is in foul trouble.

Even if Okafor and Jax were the exact same skill level, you're just costing Jax playing/developing time on the court by putting in Okafor.

I would've loved to see Jax come in and slap an AD shot to the 10th row or at least try. Playing Okafor just feels like giving up

I 100% agree with this lineup and i'd watch it every night.
NAW is not good right now, but the kid has good work ethic and if we're gonna lose anyway i'd rather do it giving him court time.

I agree, he plays hard but he's just fun to watch. watching give himself handshakes when everyone else ignores him is like finding an easter egg in a game.
I don't want to kick a horse that should already be dead, but i still feel like that's coaching. Yes Lonzo is making the bad decision to shoot long, but i'm guessing if he knew somebody was going to get open, or set a pick, and he knew what was required of him, that he wouldn't take those.

Sometimes it looks like 5 guys all trying to play a different strategy. Not being able to settle into a play will affect shot percentages as well because guys can't focus on the shot, their brains are still trying to figure if they should've passed etc.

Lonzo is my biggest letdown this season, and i thought he looked good in the preseason.

It's got to be the coach, right?

I'm very hesitant to blame a coach for losing games. There's a ton of factors that happen on the court that I know i'm not even aware of. With that being said, i do know a few things.

We've lost a lot of close games this season without any play called to win. It seems when the game is close the only things gentry does is give the ball to BI or Jrue and let the run in a circle to try and take a shot. There's no play to get them space or anything.

In the game against the Suns, Lonzo was Visibly exhausted at the start of OT and Gentry didn't pull him.

We're taking way too many three point shots IMO, but that's Gentry's game plan. Which works fine if you've got Steph Curry taking them (which he had in GS), but it's worthless with this lineup.

We've got talent to develop, and I'm not upset that we're losing with a young. I'm upset that we're losing very winnable games by lack of preparation, and that's a coaching issue.

And that's not even counting that he's averaging something like .8 technical fouls per game. one of which was in the suns game. take away his technical and we win in regulation.
