re: Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Posted by tigerprincess24 on 10/26/19 at 6:16 pm to Donka Doo Balls
My anxiety has been worse recently of course causing an increase in depression. I do take antidepressants but it’s still pretty bad even with them. I don’t want to up the meds though. I recently got into working out regularly and I feel like it helps a lot. I work out in the mornings before work and it gives me more energy and makes me just feel better. I have noticed that also having a routine has helped my anxiety. If I skip a morning, it messes up my routine, ruins my day, and just makes my anxiety/depression worse.
My suggestion? Find a hobby and stick with it. Routine. Exercise. Eat healthy.

re: Sugar is like crack. How to stop eating it

Sugar is addicting! You have to break the cycle though. Once your body gets use to not having it the cravings will go away. It will be tough at first but you will feel so much better. When I want something sweet, I do an iced coffee with just black coffee, almond milk, and vanilla protein powder. A chocolate protein shake with peanut butter is also good. If you need something to actually “snack on” though, I would suggest fruit.
