Talon... Take a chill pill buddy. Glad you're rooting for the Eagles but your killing any chance at decent conversation with some of your post and the sheer volume of post. It's like word vomit after a while.

How about something more recent, from November 2018? Will Georgia Southern show up with the same coach, offense and defense as the team that lost to ULM by 19 points

I sure hope not. We definitely overlooked them and paid the price. That was supposed to be a gimme game and it kept us from having an 11 win season and a better bowl game. It was inexcusable but it happens to every team in America not named Alabama. I hope we show up like the team that beat the shite out of App State late in 2018... Only then will it be a game worth watching. I'll be there to see it in person and look forward to tailgating with you crazy Cajun mf'ers.

LSU 38-GSU 24. 21-17 at half.

ULM beat Ga Southern 44-25 last year. This isn't an App St or good Troy team. This will be 42-14 game and move on.

GS beat App St 34-14 last year... With 7 of apps points coming during mop up duty... Will probably be 42-14 all the same but one game doesn't a season make. We won 10 games last season.
Bahaha

Perfect reply... It's probably wishful thinking. I hope y'all are enjoying him calling your games as much as we did. As mentioned, stand up guy.
Hey Tigers,

Just wanted to let everyone on this board in on a bit of info. Chris Blair (the sportscaster for LSU) was the long time sportscaster at Georgia Southern. He is a stand up guy and a great announcer. I would listen to him on radio while watching the games from our seats. A good bit of our games weren't televised so listening to him call a football, or basketball game was the next best thing to attending. He has a way of being excited without over dramatic. He is also very good at painting a clear picture of the action while also delivering interesting insight to what is going on. I'm coming to death valley to see this game in person, but I'll be listening to Blair call the game from my radio the entire time. Hoping I get to hear him say "put an Eagle 6 on it" one last time for ol time sake.

Blair Calls Southern over Gators... Hey Now!

Chris Blair on GS and move to LSU
First and foremost I look forward to my first trip to death valley. I plan on getting there a day early and taking in all Baton Rouge has to offer. Heading that way with some close friends who bleed purple and yellow.

Secondly, this is the type game every one hopes is an injury free game. There is no denying that there is a size and talent gap between the two programs. LSU should have no problem shutting down our run game. It's a triple option out of the gun. Because of this, there is no chop blocking off the line. It's more of a zone blocking scheme. Also timing is paramount for our offense to run smoothly. Being the first game of the year, I doubt that timing is on point. Crowd noise will also make an impact and I think we'll see the ball hit the turf a few times. We led the nation in turnover diff last year having only 5 turnovers all season last year...I think we'll have a minimum of two in this game. It will really depend on how the ball bounces. If we can limit turn overs and our defense comes away with a couple themselves, the game could be close in the second half. LSU should be able to mop the floor with us but won't. No clue what the spread will be, I think we'll cover and lose. I just pray that there are zero injuries on either side of the ball. Neither team needs to lose a player in a game of little significance.
