Zuppardos in Metairie had them for $49.99 about two months ago. Cannatas in Houma regularly has them for $52.99.
Blantons isn’t worth $50 much less $70 IMO. But to each his own ...

Probably. As someone mentioned, the guys at Calandros either visit the distillery or Buffalo Trace sends them a tasting of several barrels to choose from. Nonetheless it’s selected by people at Calandros. Does it mean it’s better? Maybe. Depends on preferred flavor profile of person tasting/selectin...
