Comming from me who has been practising both Boxing and MMA. The fact is those small MMA gloves compared to boxing gloves has the oposite effect on your punching power since they does not give your wrists the same support as a boxers glove.
The result probably would be that the risk for an injury on Tysons wrists or other parts of his hand would not be a question about if but instead when an injury would be the result of the next punch.
Tyson is not used to the low protection the light mma gloves gives.
