Actually, in this state with its current laws we do own it and pay taxes on it. I'm not sure what you are talking about sir.
B. Saltwater Game Fish: any sailfish (Istiophorus platypterus), blue marlin (Makaira indica), black marlin (Makaira nigricans), striped marlin (Tetrapturus audax), hatchet marlin (Tetrapturus spp.), white marlin (Tetrapturus albidus), and red drum (Sciaenops ocellatus).
I don't think sheepshead are considered "Game" fish.
No you're right. My post was poorly worded. I have had problems with bowfisherman (particularly airboats) running through my lease at night in the past. I understand that is more a trespassing issue but I'm sure it's done widespread. It can be very hard to regulate considering they are fishing at 2 in the morning. Not to mention that redfish are the only game fish allowed to be harvested with bow and arrow? And what happens to fish that are shot that happen to be under 16"? They are just thrown back with a gaping hole? The whole sport just appears to be extremely destructive in my opinion.
Am I the only one who believes that blowing through duck ponds with airboats at night shooting everything you see should be illegal? Who says these bastards stop during duck season?
