McKnight to declare for the draft
Posted by Mleger on 1/8/10 at 12:59 pm
Joe McKnight wil delcare for the NFL draft. LINK
It seems he does not want to risk injury and is tired of the Reggie Bush comparisons.
Are you glad LSU did not land him? Was he really that great of a college player?

The visiting team should get the bottom two rows on the visiting side. Row 1 and 2 has their sight lines blocked by the visiting players and all those season ticket holders would gladly switch with the visitors (I own 4 there). This would diseperse them and meet the SEC lower bowl requirement.

This logic did not help San Diego St. get the next Marshall Faulk or Oklahoma St. get the next Barry Sanders or Tennessee get the next Peyton Manning. USC already has the next Reggie - Joe McKnight. He never turned into quite the Reggie. These types of talents don't come around often. The coaches who can develop players into NFL talent get the recruits - period.
Kiffin coaches a cover two scheme that minimizes the need for top flight corners. I thought the idea was to play in the NFL not coach there. Cover 2 CBs don't get drafted as high as press coverage ones do.
I am tired of people using the "they lost their starting QB" excuse as a reason for losing. LSU won two games with it's back up including the SEC championship. Oreegon, Oklahoma, and West Virginia should have done a better job of recruiting and preparing their backup QB, period.
