Obviously no one will ever know what happened, but why I think there might be a good chance that he's innocent is that the mom was in a custody battle and eventually lost custody. How many moms actually lose custody of their kids? There must be more to the story with her if she actually lost custody of the child.
Also the fact that he passed polygraph test and had always said he was innocent weighs big. And I know it's popular to say "I would never plead guilty to molestation if I was innocent", but if you put yourself in his position and are facing 12 potentially biased jurors in liberal progressive Seattle that could absolutely destroy the rest of your life, or taking a plea deal that means your life is back to normal in only five years, I think I'd take the plea deal.
I actually have a 6 year old daughter and while I don't think she would make up these kind of details out of thin air, I do know that a mother could feed her this information or that the mother could tell someone that "this is what her daughter said" when she might not actually ever have said it.
I don't think we'll ever know if it happened. I feel bad for the kid if he's innocent.

Peppridge Farm Remembers.
I couldn't sleep that night. You guys had just won a national championship in 2003. We lost by 1 point.
Alexis Serna missed 3 extra points that game and never missed another extra point in the rest of his career.

We've had games where we look amazing and unbeatable and our first round talent is firing on all cylinders (the first two games against Stanford, and some others), and we've also had a few games where we've been obliterated by bad teams and look horrible.
At this point I don't think any beaver fan would be even the slightest bit surprised if we sweep right through without breaking a sweat, or alternatively if we lose the first two games because our bats go cold. We've seen both this year.

Oh, and there's a really accurate documentary called "Portlandia" that's about Portland if you wisely avoid Portland while you're here but are curious what it's like.

Heimlich started slow but has been amazing lately. He's not the sub-1 era pitcher that he was last year though. Fehmel has actually been our bright spot this year. You guys saw him twice last year I think. He's either unhittable or terrible though, but lately he's the former.
After those two guys we just have absolutely nothing. We've been looking for a 3rd starter all year and like 2/3 of our losses are those game 3 disasters. For some reason our bats seem to fall asleep when we are pitching Johnny Bullpen as well; I'm not sure if the guys are stressed and trying too hard on those days or what it is.
Compared to last year our pitching is worse overall but the bats are a lot better.
If we actually make it to Omaha I don't think we'll last long because we'll run out of pitching. I actually think this Regional will be harder than a super would. Facing LSU with delpeted pitching would be harder than facing literally any other team with Heimlich and Fehmel. We haven't lost a series at Goss in over 2 years.
That said I bet we pitch Fehmel in game 1 and Heimlich game 2. I don't think we'll go Johnny Wholestaff in game 1 because we'd probably get beat which would be more embarrassing than losing to LSU later on.

I've golfed a few local courses but nothing spectacular and certainly not enough to feel comfortable making a recommendation. Most of the high quality golfing is in Central Oregon or Bandon I think.
Seattle to Corvallis is at least 4 hours, maybe 5. But I still don't think it's a bad idea to fly to Seattle and drive to Corvallis if you have time.
You kind of have to get off of I-5 if you want to see the best parts of Oregon though.

Oregonian here.
Voodoo donuts are total garbage that only tourists go for.
Multnomah falls are pretty but if you're only going to visit Oregon once the best thing to do is to drive the coast along 101. Anywhere from about Cannon Beach to Coos Bay or Brookings is the best. Definitely stop before going into California because Northern California along the coast is garbage. The redwoods are great but other than that it's just homeless people and poverty.
Another great drive would be to Central Oregon (Bend) or to Crater Lake.
Duck fans are prissy spoiled brats that haven't won anything, but I might be biased... They recruit purely on facilities and flash. They would be your lawyers, social science majors etc. Oregon State is your more "down to earth" school... The farmers and engineers.
Oregon gets it's liberal reputation from the I-5 corridor from about Portland to Eugene but other than those places it's a bunch of conservative gun-loving farmers. The state's brand of libralism was more libertarian than liberal until the recent invasion of Californians that all of the locals despise.
Beaver fans are pretty calm and humble. The only sports we are good at right now are baseball, women's basketball and a couple other random sports. We were good at football for about a decade and then have been bad for the last decade.
Enjoy your trip!

What does baw mean?
I've never heard the term before. I've lived in Oregon my entire life but my great grandma was from Louisiana.

If my options are having 12 jurors in the most liberal progressive state in the country (near Seattle) decide my fate in this modern environment (where we believe accusers 100% of the time on principal), or just take the safe route that guarantees that my life is normal by the time I'm 22, I'm taking the safe route and taking the plea.

We respect you guys and also have been sitting on a mountain of salt ever since our kicker missed 3 extra point attempts against you back in 2004.

This could be. We might be over-hyping this here in Oregon. Our pile of salt from last year's Omaha exit to you guys is currently the largest mountain West of the Rockies.

If we had $10 tickets and a large stadium we'd have huge crowds as well. When it's $200-$300 to take my family to a beaver game at Goss I start to think twice.
Our football program has been in the crapper for a decade so all of the fans migrated to baseball which has been amazing ever since our championships.

That's not unreasonable.
Stanford OSU tickets were nearly $200.
Keep in mind that on stub hub those cheap $50-$100 tickets aren't actually in the stadium if they say outfield. You don't have access to any of the facilities at Goss.
