Cabela's in Gonzales is in pretty good shape with the exception of hooks and weights. It pretty sparce. Same thing at Walmart....

I've had more problems recently with Power Pro. Mysterious line breaks, etc. Considering a change, but used to think it was the best....

With the price of oil in the low 20s, price of gas should be about $1.25 or 70 cents higher than wholesale price of 53 cents. Here in Gonzales, we're paying $1.80....

Did well on redfish along the southern banks of Lake De Cade last week. There was a lot of bait in the area. Fished early and late on fresh shrimp....

Fished there about five years ago with two other people. As beautiful as it was, we didn't get a bite in two days. Pretty frustrating. It was during the summer....
