they all watched "big bang theory" and think thats what is cool and nerdy.
They dont even realize half the time the science in the show was misapplied or flat out wrong.
Yep.

A question for the group -
Where does that leave the Christian Conservatives in all of this? Traditionally a goup seeking the moral high ground, stoic and unfunny, however voting in alignment with those we've discussed in this thread.
Odd bedfellows, to be sure.
It's a complicated situation to be sure and not easily explained but essentially it is the traditionalism and social conservativism that unites these groups. By declaring everything on the right as white supremacy, racist, toxic masculinity, etc. the left has essentially forced the right or those left behind to assume more traditional views on culture, society, relationships, etc. Since social conservatism and traditional religions are an aspect of this, Christianity does have a place in the new right wing coalition.

bingo.
Being an actual nerd and trying to talk to these people about scifi or fantasy is infuriating. You see someone dressed as some character or hear someone talking about how they love so and so series, yet when you try to engage them about anything more in depth than the general storyline you get met with blank faces or a look of smugness and "whoa man don't take it so seriously." As soon as the next "popular thing" comes about they move on and promptly forget the other previous thing ever existed.

As a conservative millennial it blows my mind how the generation after me, is it Gen Z?, is so conservative. I got so much shite in high school for my political beliefs, even in Texas.
And they aren't just standard conservatives or tea party conservatives either. They are generally socially conservative and much more highly traditional. That is, they are reactionaries rather than conservatives, which will be much harder for the left to stop as their beliefs are much more entrenched and their resolve is a lot higher.
quote:
I look at it as the jocks vs the nerds to be honest. Every leftie I’ve ever met was a huge loser/nerd.
Actually this is incorrect. The current situation as it stands is this:
Hipsters, artists, creative types, etc. on the left.
Jocks, nerds, and outcast badboys on the right.
It's a misnomer to label the left as nerds because very very few of them are involved in any technical or STEM field. The overwhelming majority of people I know who are involved with tech (programmers) or engineering outside of academia have been at a minimum libertarian to many being far right conservative.
The reason the left is labeled nerds is because they are all small souled bugmen who consume pop culture at an outsized rate. These are the types who larp as nerds in cosplay without actually knowing anything about the source material. That is, it's all a facade for them and extremely shallow. None of these people do anything technical and don't know anything about science or mathematics, which is required to be a nerd. An actual nerd who is into something scifi is going to be someone who is vastly into technical details about the source material and could give you numbers about the explosive yield of specific weapons or the capabilities of certain ships.
The other interesting thing that has happened is that the jocks, nerds, and outcasts are all aligned politically now. Why is this interesting? Because historically these groups have generally been antagonistic to each other. What brought them together? The fact that all of their interests have been labeled as infested with "toxic masculinity". Now that this has happened, it's been rather interesting at places like /pol/, the manosphere, alt right places, etc. as these disparate groups have begun to figure out how to co-exist. This is part of why self improvement, lifting weights, improving yourself, reading philosophy, etc. are now all things many on the right do. The jocks brought physical fitness, the nerds brough knowledge and philosophy, and the outcasts brought charisma and trolling.

Can't debate that. Definitely true.
Then why is internet humor different? Is it a generational thing? Are the 4Chan youth your future comedy, etc writers?
It's a generational issue. The overwhelming majority of funny people on the internet are right wing because they care nothing about offending people. They won't break into mainstream media though because wrongthink is not allowed there.

They aren't. The right is uninventive and lacks creativity more than any other group on the planet. There are, however, a bunch of young trolls who identify themselves as right-wingers strictly because they hate social justice. Some of them are funny.
In general, almost all the world's creative spark and humor comes from Liberal people. Don't get excited over the one time in history that a bunch of so-called conservatives were actually funny
I mean, you do realize that you get blackballed if you're a comedian and conservative now don't you? It's impossible to break into Hollywood or media unless you're a liberal.
With regards to memes, you really have no idea what you're talking about. Leftist memes tend to be very wordy while right memes focus on being short and to the point.
You are right that for a long time the left used to be funny but that's because they were allowed to offend people. Now? Their memes are sanitized to the point of insanity and if someone takes offense they apologize. It's impossible to be funny in this environment as you're always walking on eggshells.
What has allowed the right to become funny is their willingness to offend anyone and everyone. Bantz (or banter if you will) are a huge part of right wing culture nowadays, especially those who read /pol/ or other far right places. Not even South Park is willing to go where the far right goes.

frick no. I knew this SJW gal that threw a fit over that God awful Robin Thicke song a few years ago do to its "misogyny", but the bitch listens to and loves the most vile ghetto jungle music you can think of.
All SJWs are like this. This is by design. These are brainwashed small souled bugmen who do whatever their corporate globalist masters tell them to do.
When they say misogyny, what they really mean is "white misogyny".
Of course not, rap is used to brainwash the goyim into complete and total degeneracy.

Your page is fake too
the book is free online people for all of you that want to check to see
Given how much garbage is in the book that has been proven to be actually there, I'd believe just about anything at this point. The book is full of lies and ridiculous overexaggerations.

I believe the one I posted is from the electronic version, which is why the fonts look different.
I think this one tops that.
Smoking weed while pregnant is absolutely degenerate. Women are supposed to refrain from almost any negative or risky behavior while pregnant. They should be eating properly and working out to ensure a healthy baby.
I simply cannot fathom the level of callousness that would be required in order to have so little concern for your baby. This article makes me angry.

Consequences of #MeToo on businesses

Everything was already trending this way, but by equating standard male/female interactions as potential rape or sexual harassment situations, I don't know how anyone wouldn't react in the above manner. Yeah it will never be mentioned publicly because no one is that stupid, but privately? This has essentially made hiring women a liability for any company.
I don't understand the point of all of this. What do the feminists expect to even accomplish here? Do they want to recreate 50s era gender roles so that they can have a reason to exist?
quote:
There are however two big problems with the whole situation:
Accusations alone kill careers and businesses just through the media attention and absence from any investigation or evidence
The narrative of the whole debate is that every claim must be believed?—?regardless how ridiculous the claim itself is and that any questioning of this or that people want an investigation is automatically anti female.
These two social justice paradigms have made it impossible to defend anybody against accusations?—?regardless how suspicious or shallow the claims were?—?and it still continues so we can assume this will stay for way longer than just the next week.
quote:
Congratulations #metoo movement, you just made any interaction that could be happening in a normal work relationship also considered to be a possible sexual harassment claim.
Never mind that everybody knows these are ridiculous standards, but as we have all seen in the #metoo outfall, it’s the accepted and proven conclusion!
Now as a business owner myself and somebody who is in voluntary leadership positions I can tell you one thing:
It´s impossible to accomplish anything if you are not willing to make someone “uncomfortable”! Especially if you take on a mentor role!
quote:
Right now the message of #metoo to men is very clear:
As a man, you are automatically a possible rapist
As a man, it is automatically harassment if you make women uncomfortable in any way
And if you say anything against that then you are just some misogynistic a**hole that doesn’t want women to succeed or have their freedom
quote:
What the media doesn’t see are three very important facts:
Most businesses still care more about profit than gender distribution
Most businesses don’t share the blatent disregard for men
Most businesses are still created, maintained and lead by men?—?so you can’t put men out of the equation
quote:
So when I talked with my friends I wasn’t really surprised about the solution they came up with to the new #metoo problems for the workplace?—?I mean I was shocked at first but I also immediately understood the reaction and the sense behind it.
“We will probably not hire women if they have to work together with men” (paraphrased)
And further
“We have to consider gender segregation at the workplace as a next step so we hire women only for positions where we can make a team out of them and where we have to hire a spot in the male-dominated parts we hire additional men” (paraphrased)
One of my colleagues from a US Tech company gave me even a (for me) more horrific answer when I asked him about this notion:
“we are considering to drop our female staffers in the non-support teams, this way we can eliminate the risk and from the outside, it looks like we just have a 90/10 split which is low but not unreasonable for a tech company”
