Is there a worse team in the world in close games than Oklahoma?
If by "in the world" you mean across all sports, then the answer is Arkansas football.

Did I miss the other semifinal game?

Every thread is Indiana will kill Miami, or vice versa.

Whoever wins tomorrow, will be the national champ, but I don't think an Indiana win is a foregone conclusion.
Alabama is no litmus test any longer. Nor is the SEC.

Oregon is a much better team from a much tougher conference than Alabama. And they have already played Oregon close once. So tough to beat a team twice.

Well, you're better than the best SEC team, but lately that ain't saying much.
You can't beat either team in the other semifinal. May as well accept that now, it'll be easier on you next week.

The National Champion

Will be settled in tomorrow's semifinal

Neither team tonight has any chance of beating either Big10 team.
No matter who wins tomorrow, the title game won't be close.
I'm an Arkansas fan, not an SEC fan. frick all you cheating bastards.

All I'm saying is that was pretty borderline for a Hail Mary. And that defender was doing a little bit more than hand fighting. He was holding on

So was the receiver. The only person with any chance of making that catch in bounds was the defender, and the received pulled him down by a handful of jersey.
If they played 10 times, Miami would win 9 by average of 21 points.

Ole Miss was hanging on for dear life the first three quarters.
Miami stupidity and brick handed defenders are the only things that kept it close enough for Ole Miss to have a chance.

re: That was PI on the last play

Yea. Offensive PI.
It would've been an interception if receiver hadn't grabbed defenders jersey.

Two seasons ago the cheatingest team in history won it.
So only last year and this of legit NO SEC champion.
And what happened again, two years ago?
Oh yeah, the soft arse Big12 put two teams in the league and drug it down.
And that was against New Orleans High, which had no business being there.

The SEC is soft as shite. The league's premier team hired a Pac12 coach, and the league has become the new PAC12

The announcers did a poor job explaining. If any part of the foot hits out of bounds, it’s out.

That's actually not the rule. Here's how stupid the rule is.
If the receiver is going out of bounds backwards, and his toe comes down before the heel, it's considered a catch.
But if he's going out of backs forwards, and his heel comes down inbounds before the toe is out of bounds, it's considered incomplete.

The rules for what constitutes a catch are among the stupidest, most incomprehensible rules in all of sports.

Not even close

It was close, and it was obvious toe was down before heel. If you disagree, you have a bias you can't overcome.
Yea, suddenly the time lapse between toe and heel are part of the rule.

That's a catch by Toney, by rule.

Posted by Ironlung on 1/8/26 at 10:16 pm
Why does it matter how much time lapses between the toe and the heel coming down?
He got a toe down before the heel. Replay clearly shows it.
After Ole Miss finally gets called for something.

Ridiculous Miami hasn't targeted Toney once this drive. He's the best player on the field

Kicking Miami's best defender out of the game for no reason paid off for Ole Miss, the SEC, the NCAA and ESPN.

Stockholm Symdrome
ESPN and NCAA realized after the Indiana/Bama game that the SEC has become the new Pac12, and is soft as shite.
So they're calling this one accordingly.

What a bullshite rule. That kid made a normal football play and now he's kicked out of the game.

Yeah, it sucks seeing the potential of this team if these transfer guards were even average/slightly above average.

As a Hog fan, I can't tell you how glad we are to trade losing Fland to sign Acuff.

Missouri guards though, throwing elbows like UFC fighters, and going to the foul line for it.
All game long.

Florida is getting screwed
What we've learned in both years is that Bama is now Seattle South.
You have a PNW wokester at the helm and you've gone soft.
Here's what this thread is really about...

The OP is really pissed that every school can now legally do what Bama has been doing.
The SEC has four total postseason wins out of 11 teams. Two were against other SEC teams.

Of the other two, one was the tea sipping Big12 refugees from Portland South against a program in utter turmoil, the other was against New Orleans High.

The SEC is down. Way down. It IS infefrior to the Big 10 right now, and there's no debate about it.

It was.
First and goal.
Game probably tied.
In other words, it would've been your only TD of the game, and you still probably lose.

Let's be honest. Georgia is ranked right now because they have a one loss record against a joke of a schedule.
