Going to be a great throw-away segment for Stephen A on Monday.
Can Garrett Brumfield Redshirt?

Obviously the new 4 game rule is what comes to mind, is it out of the realm of possibility that Brumfield returns next year if he misses the rest of the season?

You're not wrong, but SELU was 5/6 on 4th down. All of those attempts were in the 2nd half. That made it interesting (for them). As a counterpoint, them being on the field longer just increased the inevitable: turnovers. The Lions had 2 in the second half, on drives that were sustained after 4th down conversions.
And while going for it on 4th isn't uncommon, going for it 6 times and getting it 5 is. We should have had at least 4 more possessions, and that's with a +3 turnover margin

Which is why I agree with T-Bob when he said it's the scheme not the players. I do believe we have upgraded in talent over the years, especially at the physical positions (Line of Scrimmage). We didn't look terrible in the second half because of our players, it was what we tried to do on offense.
We've done on offense "what works" against two teams that we have been better than. It's not pretty, but it's worked. There's no reason to believe that Ensminger thinks running the ball 80% of the time against Auburn will work.

OLine Misconception

After watching the game, my rash opinion was that our OLine was doomed. 36 hours later, I've backed off of that belief. We had the ball for 9 minutes in the second half. 13 runs. 3 Passes. 3 Punts. 1 score. We opened up the 3rd quarter with four straight running plays, and a pass finally came in an obvious passing situation (2nd and 25). Joe threw it 3 times in the entire second half, and 2 other passing plays were called that Burrow scrambled for a few yards. We have been the more physical team in two games out of two this season, and I'd be hard pressed to see that change.
Could the Offensive Line have played better? Absolutely. By no means were they perfect, but they did not play nearly as bad as everyone has led on. They need to play better next week and I am confident that they will. We need to be better on Third Down if anything, and Joe needs to have a heightened pocket presence.
Aranda's defense will keep us in this game. Auburn will get a few big plays over the top and I imagine Malzahn will utilize the screen game when Dave gets too aggressive. Hopefully the front 7 will be as dominate as they have been to start the season so that we don't have to get that desperate in delivering pressure from the secondary.
This is a good football team, and America, along with the rest of this board, will figure that out come Saturday.

I hope she's attractive.

Although it's different circumstances, Nick Chubb seemed to not regret his decision to return.
I've tried Abita's, Yuengling's, Sam Adams, Shiner's, and St. Arnold's. -- St. Arnold's stood out the most
