Don't worry at all about 2013. The QB that year was supposed to be Pete Thomas -- a pure pocket passer who transferred from Colorado State. He was recruited by Tom O'Brien/Dana Bible in the Mike Glennon mold, pure pro-style. Thomas sat out 2012 as a transfer.

Then O'Brien was fired, Doeren was hired and brought in Canada. They went out and got grad. transfer Brandon Mitchell from Arkansas to run the spread. I think he played more WR than QB at Arkansas? Anyway, we gave him the ball and he did well the first few games with a very simple passing game. But once there was enough film to make a scouting report we went 0-8 in conference play. The fact that we scored a TD at all that year was pretty much a miracle.
