I highly recommend Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo. It will be $50/person to sit down, but that $50 goes towards food and drink.

A good strategy would be to go with a big group and split the tables up. Let's say you had 2 tables of 5....so the restaurant will get $500 guaranteed from y'all. You can keep asking the waitress how much left you have to spend. In their mind, you're one party, but once you hit the quota; tell her to split the bills b/w the tables.

Make sure everyone at your table knows the plan before. Only order a few beers and apps, this way you're out the door only spending about $38 after tip and the other table will foot the rest.

It will be all good, b/c each table is only paying for what they consumed.

Oh, and if you go to the Westgate; ask for Chona (she also goes by Concepcion) - she's the best cocktail waitress in Vegas.

Is there a current website that does this or is it more ebay based? If so, do you have an idea on what the projected sales/month might be?

What should I be doing to prepare for retirement(long ways way I know)?
What are some differences between different accounts? There are so many you guys talk about I feel a bit overwhelmed.
I feel very lost when it comes to taxes. Is this normal or will I understand it as I go?
Is there any basic guide I could look at to help me out?

1. Re: retirement, right now just concentrate on keeping your inevitable student debt minimized as much as possible. Study your arse off and get into PT school and get a good job. This is your first step to retirement.
2. There literally are tons of accounts...in your situation, I honestly wouldn't even worry about that right now. Especially since you're barely making ends meat...but if you absolutely want to put something away right now, I would opt for a Roth IRA (any financial house will have these) unless your job lets you have a 401k and they match
3. Taxes really aren't complicated unless you get into things like owning your own busines, rental property, etc...Even then, you can do everything on your own online for less than $100.
4. A book I would suggest you start with is I will teach you to be rich - the author is kind of arrogant, but it's no BS guide to personal finance

What type of grass is that? Looks like centipede.

Just based on the recent pics I think you just need to fertilize more. Go easy on the nitrogen, use a 1-3-3 ratio product. You can go with more nitrogen in the spring time. That could be some disease but without proper nutrition the grass won't recover quickly.

It's St. Aug. Thx...I'll check into the fertilize vs. fungicide breakdown

How many times should one put down the fungicide? I did it about a month ago and it doesn't look like it's improved.

I guess around springtime of this year (I could be off on the timing), I started noticing the yellow patches and weeds popping up alot.

Here's a few overhead shots of the yard:

lawn and weeds

I took the 2 overhead pictures from the north side of my house, so the entire yard is exposes to alot of sun the majority of the day (not sure if that has anything to do with it or not). But in the areas that receive shade (where fence is blocking, trees are shading, etc.) there are no yellow patches.

Thx.

A 7 pt line move in 2 weeks is highly unlikely
No, they get updated each week and are able to be bet on.
Bama was a 7 pt favorite @ lsu in sportsbook.com's games of the year section on Friday.

The CD ladder concept isn't a bad one normally, just be aware that in the current rate environment the returns are pretty awful.

yeah rates are bad, but if you're saving for a house (i.e. not willing to take a greater risk with it) and no need to touch the money, it's about the best you can do right now unfortuately
If you're going to save for a down payment, think about a CD Ladder. Talk to your local bank and see if they can automate this if you won't have the time to manage: Definition below, more detail here (article is dated, so the %s are off, but concept is the same

Simply put, a CD ladder is a collection of CDs bought at regular intervals so that they’ll mature at regular intervals as well. Let’s say I wanted to create a simple CD ladder out of six month CDs. I buy one on the first of each month for six months. Then, on the first day of the seventh month, that first CD I bought matures and I collect a nice return. I can then either buy a new CD for the original amount and pocket the return, just keep all of the return and the original amount for some purchase, or I can buy a new CD for the total return. After that, each month, a CD matures and I can either buy a new one or use it for something else.

If you’re doing this with your emergency fund, you can set it up so that you always have a month’s worth of living expenses available in cash and each of the CDs represents a month’s worth of living expenses. Thus, each month, you’ll have a CD mature, collect a higher interest rate, and you can use the returns to buy another CD (if you don’t need it for an emergency), leaving you with a month’s worth of emergency fund at all times.

I will teach you to be rich is a quick must read for any young person IMO.

According to her bio, she doesn't have any kids yet. Nobody knows her situation at all. Maybe she's been trying to have kids for awhile and has been unsuccessful. Over the age of 35, it gets very difficult for a woman to get pregnant.

It doesn't matter one ounce if she's married or not. That's nobody's business but her own.

I'm assuming most of the people with selfish responses in this thread have never gone through any difficulties trying to conceive children or had any family/friends that have.

Even if it was unplanned, that's life...it happens; and I'm sure the team will be just fine.
