Bam!!!! I told y'all she couldn't stop.
Leona please take our advice and stop commenting. You have taken a great post and turned it into a circus side show. $20 you have to get the last word. I bet you can't, not respond.
I really wish you all the best with the business. I hope you can take the constructive criticism and always improve. Having a FB army register on here to attack bad reviews is not a way to improve your business. Leona is really hurting you.
Come on Laura Leonard Rettstatt. A surgical nurse should have better grammar than that.
Leona85--you prove my point about the noise. Also why would I want to go sit in the back to talk. It was a poor decision to put Tin on the ceiling. Not an issue at other bars.
The owners are David Thigpen, Rhett Bunce, and Anthony Donze.
I have been waiting patiently for this place to open. I've been twice so far and my honest opinion is disappointment. It looks awesome with the stained concrete floors, brick walls and tin ceiling but it is miserable for acoustics. You can't go there and talk. It is a loud roar with sound bouncing everywhere. The food is average. It takes 30 plus minutes to get a burger and it is no where close to your moms bar and grill. I think this is a classic case of someone watching too much Bar Rescue on TV and now trying to run a bar. I guess the three owners are wanting more of a bar but are forced to have food to obtain a liquor license. It shows. I also think they picked a name too similar to red white and brew which is an established higher end bar in Hammond. All these mistakes plus the location of many many failed businesses in that location makes for an almost impossible chance it will succeed. I really hope they can improve. We shall see. I won't be back for food with other better places in the area.
