Yes, if he wants it. He may not do if right away because he gets more money out of Alleva and "the big donors" if he remains out of coaching. Athletic directors all over the country see this guy getting roasted in an extremely unprofessional manner by our athletic department. If DiNardo can get rehired, Miles can land a major job.
My God....just have the NCAA give the death penalty for eternity.

Wow, so many accomplishments.

Alleva’s tenure has been distinguished by a number of significant athletic achievements, including four 10-win seasons and 69 total victories by the football team. The Tigers have played in a bowl game in each of Alleva’s seven gridiron seasons and LSU has finished in the Top 20 five times in that period. LSU under Alleva’s leadership has claimed the 2009 baseball national championship and three College World Series berths, the 2015 men’s golf national championship....

Damn, and all this time I thought it was the athletes and coaches making these accomplishments. Turns out, it's Alleva's got us to the CWS. So,it's his fault when they lose as well....go back to Duke you dumb.....
So, basically what you're saying is Jimbo has to SIGN a contract BEFORE we fire Miles. Not possible. We will fire Miles with the HOPE that Fisher isn't fishing for a better deal at FSU.

So, if (basically, when) we fire Miles it's all a crap shoot. In the past, LSU has always fallen to their 3rd or 4th choice. We probably end up with a middle of the pack hire that doesn't excite anyone. I don't care who it is as long as they are successful and win at least 9 games a year. Oh, wait...he'd be fired too.
Before Alleva's athletic department destructive media fiasco
LSU 28
A&M 24

After the carnage from the last 2 weeks
A&M 31
LSU 6
Folks....it's a pipe dream that Fisher would come to LSU. Like folks kept saying Ara Parseghian had bought a house in BR back in the 70's when everybody wanted Chatlie Mac fired. Fisher is just playing FSU into a better contract. Back to reality folks. :rotflmao:

Season ticket holders

Unless you pay for season tickets, your opinion really doesn't matter. You have no vested interest in the program. I live 300 miles away and have 2 tickets with $950 TF fee per ticket. Cost...approx $2800. You kids may think this is unimportant, until you've done this for 25 years. How would you feel to go to work everyday with professionalism, integrity, honesty, and respect for your coworkers; only to have your career pulled out from under you because the guy sitting next to you is a narcissistic jerk who treats coworkers as if they are an annoyance. I'd rather lose with Miles than win with an a-hole. Alleva is a puppet for a few big donors, whose ignorance may bring us a mere 2015 version of Curley Hallman.

Apparently not. These "tiger fans" would rather chime in on their self proclaimed expertise of evaluating a potential coach.
Well, so far no outstanding "realistic" hire has been put out there. Even these "proven" HC's haven't coached as an HC in the SEC, much less the SEC west
See Alleva's coaching hires at Duke. LSU may have the ability to attract a higher quality of candidates, the idiot in the AD chair has to have the brain capacity to choose wisely. Track record frightening.
