Well I ageee with the majority of what you said, I haven’t seen the equivalent of yes men under O. I think we should see how next year plays out before we say whether or not O is a failure or whether or not this program is a sinking ship.

At ole miss he won 10 games, and if that was all he had done than I agree that that is terrible but in his 3 seasons since than he has won 21 and only lost 8.

All I’m saying is that, he’s been painted like ole miss is the epitome of his experience but he has done well since than. Hasn’t gone undefeated or set the world on fire, but he is better than ole miss.

You are correct. My bad on that.

Rantards

The majority of the fanbase on the rant are ridiculous.

They pull numbers and stories out of their butts like they are facts, they have no idea how to run an athletic department or a football team, yet they talk like they can do it better than what we have.

It’s even sadder that they have already put us in the grave before a game of next season has been played or our recruiting class has even finished.

Grow a pair and give some give our team and coaches a chance to put their product on the field.

And by the way, Coach O has a 21-12 head coaching record since Ole Miss, so he isn’t the failure he has been painted to be on here

We also got blown the frick out in Starkville, struggled vs Chatt, almost dropped another vs Syracuse, and barely beat a terrible Florida team. And those were with no “meddling” as you call it.

What it comes down to is, the negaO’s are going to disagree with and hate everything he does except quit, and the cheeriO’s will defend him.

I just wish there would stop being so many topics started stating how badly O sucks and is destroying the program.

For one, it’s not f***** meddling if your the head coach. It’s just called coaching.
Also, the same folk that are pissed at O for getting rid of Canada after one year, are the same folk that want him gone after one season.

If Canada’s offense had been truly successful he would still be employed at LSU.

Getting Ridiculous

Whether we disagree with the O hire, or we don’t ; Whether we agree with the Canada firing or not; and whether we think that LSU is in trouble or not, the amount of O sucks, O is a moron, O needs to grow up, blah blah blah threads is getting stupid.

The truth is none of us really know what went on behind the scenes this year. All we see is the conclusion.

How bout we just shite up with the negative BS, be thankful we get to be part of LSU athletics, and get behind our coaches and players.

You don’t like O. We freaking get it. Now shut up. And let coach do what he thinks he needs to do. If he fails he will be gone.

I believe smokeshow was the wrong choice of words.

There is definitely something to all of this, I’m simply saying to put the blame solely on O, based on the Troy game and the comments after the A & M game is a bit of a leap.

Haters gonna hate, slobbers gonna slob. I believe the truth is somewhere in between.

Smokeshow

Maybe I’m in the small majority, but I think the O and Canada drama is being overblown. Possibly just to create conversation, but still it’s stupid.

When O mettled in the offense early in season, if you recall, we were having all kinds of false starts, illegal motion penalties, holding penalties, we were struggling to get any kind of pass protection, and our run plays were getting blown up in the backfield.
Granted we were young, but I think O wanted to simplify the motions to cut down on mistakes. Should he have, hard to say. But regardless the outcome wasn’t any better, so he turned the reigns back over to Canada.

I also believe the comment he made about Canada after the A & M game was innocent in nature. I believe he was simply saying if Canada wants to be a head coach I will support him leaving to do that.
What's embarrassing is this post.

It's not throwing the kickers under the bus to tell the truth.

We don't have one that can make a kick.
Get an O-Zone generator.

If you own a rental house it may be a good investment.

It works best for a whole house type application if you put it in the return vent a run the fan on your thermostat.

Let it run for a day, should be good to go.

Just make sure you keep the house unoccupied while the machine is running.

Saban doesn't have a rival, he is the greatest. Everybody else are his subjects.....or so the media would have us to believe.

Offensive Idealogy

Posted by Ace51212 on 12/7/16 at 6:52 pm
Does the The Rant have a preference on what we want as far as offensive scheme for this coming year?

Just curious if there is a popular vote on a specific scheme, or if The Rant doesn't have a preferred scheme and just cares about the success the scheme produces.
Les was definitely stubborn and believed the way he was running things was the best way, or maybe changing is scary to him.

Doesn't matter what his reasons were, He is gone, time for us to move on.
Couldn't agree more.

I'm not campaigning for O to do things like Saban, O is not Saban, and I don't want him to be.
But I would like it if even if we are up by 50 points in a game to not allow the defense to start playing sloppy, which we saw a few times this year at the end of games.

I think it's funny that for one you are curious about it.
And for two that because Im not so butt hurt about Bama therefore I can be rational and notice something positive about Saban that it offends you so much.

Shows how caught up in Bama most tiger fans are.

I have no obsession with the man. I'm not a Bama band wagoner.
I was not saying no other coach can win. I was merely conmenting that I agree with the mindset of not being ok with mediocrity and not letting players take plays off and mentally check out just because your up big on an opponent.

I'm all for O and our team.
Doesn't make it to the contrary because I respect some facets of another programs operation.
Assume much you do.

There is no guarantee that even if we got att those guys, that we would be a dynasty or a powerhouse for years to come.

Also come next year, with a new OC, we could still be a powerhouse.

With the Herman Assumption we will never know, and with O and new staff we will find out next season.

After the game was the 40 minute tirade. Should have explained that more clearly.
