Good for McFadden. He needed a good season finally.

Good for him, great player. Best of luck

re: Les Miles and Kobe Bryant

Well, for one, Kobe has been in the league for a long time. He's tired and old, and just is not doing as much as he once was. He's done it, he's had fun, and now he is ready to officially go- and the fans are just simply respecting that.

In my opinion, it was just too early in the season for us: our team was not playing as efficiently as they did near the end.

Plus, ya know, Allen not throwing that last pass, 3 yards farther, so we could convert in OT.
I wouldn't let "Egg" do it, if it were me, without at least giving your roommate a heads up. Just tell him, Egg wants to come by and search for something she left, see what he says- then when he comes back, Egg will still have the element of surprise, and your roommate will think you just helped Egg out.

However, if your roommate does not want Egg to search for "her lost item", then definitely do not let Egg come clean his room.
Sorry man.. Praying for peace within your family. May your father rest in peace.

Hopeful thinking: that way, bama would be knocked off, and we would have the timely chance to knock LSU off the top too (since we seem to play against them really well each year).

re: "Battle Line" Trophy...

Posted by drweasel12 on 11/27/15 at 5:08 pm to
Am I the only one who truly likes it? Sure it's not the most beautiful trophy, but at least it's something we can be proud of, as we dominate Mizzou for the rest of eternity.

Les Miles

Posted by drweasel12 on 11/27/15 at 5:05 pm
Les Miles is about to get fired/quit... he has averaged about 10 wins a season, the past 11 years, along with a National Championship. I am a hog fan, deep and true, but even I feel sorry for him, if he is in fact getting fired.

Yet, there is no definite word that he is getting fired (or at least not that I have heard).

What is your opinion on this issue? Is he getting canned, or quitting? Feel sorry, or happy to see him go?
I think it'll be a fun game, but I don't know why so many people are trying to make it a rivalry. Sure we don't like them, but I just don't see it as that strong of a rivalry.

Although, that new rivalry trophy... very clean.
And this is the post I agree with in this thread.

re: Bowl predictions and discussion

Let's see them in Memphis or Nashville- that's close enough for "most" fans to go see them.

However, a bowl in Florida would definitely help boost our credibility down there, and help out with recruiting (probably).

Well... I guess it's good that he is back for another season. Very blessed for it.

Exactly.

I read an article about the official rules, and how it should have gone down, according to those rules.

According to those rules... the whole play was legal. Therefore, Arkansas beats Ole Piss for two years straight.
how the hell are we the #62 defense?
I agree with you completely. With our team, you can never really tell who will beat, or lose to. However, I do believe that we can beat at least 2 of our remaining opponents, and get into a bowl game.
Siri replies and says that Mississippi State is... but they are ranked 25. So I guess Siri only knows the Top 25 teams..?

These home conference games are going to be so intense. I always love to watch LSU come to Fayetteville.

Basically, we need to be ready to actually play some football, and not get caught off-guard.

If we do that, the game should be an easy W.

But did you see our home SEC games: LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, AND Auburn. That is going to be intense!

re: Ryan Mallett

I actually agree. Petrino was not a bad coach, he had us on the right path- he just messed up.

And that probably ended his professional football career... what little of a career he had, at least.

I agree. I do not think that 7-5 is possible. I would love for it to happen, but statistically speaking, I do not think it will.

UTM and Missouri should be pretty simple wins, maybe a little struggle with Mizzou, just because we are not a very good second half team.

LSU... Last year was not expected, so I do not want to make any comments.

Ole Miss and State I can see going either way, although OM should be a W.

But, hey- this is just my opinion.

re: Next league opponent: Ole Miss

I think we have a legit shot against Ole Miss. We usually match up pretty well against them when we play.

That being said, I do agree, we need to get past UTM before I have any kind of a solid "yes we can beat Ole Miss"
I am the heaviest I have ever been, at about 190.
Oh wow, thanks.

That poor guy. Damn the man.
