You should know boxers are as dumb as a box of hammers, as the previous poster said, just look at their facial expression. The lights are on but nobody home !!!!!!!!!

You want to fertilize it, go to feed store and buy a sack of ammonia nitrate and hit it with that after it gets going.

If you are broadcasting over St. Aug, you do not need to scratch the ground.
On Oct. 17th, used Scott fertilizer spreader to put out 50 pounds over St. Aug (do it every year)in Mandeville area.
Ran sprinkler that afternoon. On following Sunday, had areas already two inches tall.
Now entire yard as green as a gourd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No need to complicate rye grass. As the man said, it will grow on tail gate of a truck. Water is the key to germination.
