Yes, I believe that you earn miles with your airline loyalty accounts as well.
If you travel a lot, venture x is worth it. $300 travel credit per year, plus $100 worth of anniversary miles each year covers the $395 annual fee. I think they still offer 75,000 bonus miles on sign up, equal to $750.
Green are the sections that have availabilities. Some sections may only have a few seats still available.
I know game is supposed to be at 4, but is there a certain time they will wait after game 1 ends to begin ?
Didn't Putin say, in his interview with Tucker, he would prefer biden as president? He was more predictable or something.

I haven't heard that. But I live in Slidell and have spectrum, and fox is currently out of service for me. Planning to watch in the fox sports app.
Apparently someone went to college.

Ally invest also down
The buy was for GBTC on Ally invest.
Yes it was in premarket. I set it slightly above because I wanted the order to go through and no be cancelled or partially filled
Good to know, Russian, I'll keep an eye out in the future. I have a brokerage with ally invest and a 401k with Fidelity. I didn't have the same problem with Fidelity
It has surpassed the price now, I just didn't expect that to happen, because I never used limit orders before. Thanks rocket

Question about limit orders

Posted by bayoubengal2007 on 1/6/21 at 9:20 am
I purchased an OTC market ETf this morning, which my brokerage account does not accept market orders for. Assuming the price was to rise today, I set my limit order higher than the current market price. When it was filled, it was filled at the limit price, even though the current price of the ETF had not reached that amount. I know the limit is the max amount that I am willing to pay, but it is normal for the brokerage account to execute it at the maximum price, and not "or better" prices. Thanks is advance guys.

Cdc said they would not extend the no sail order, if cruise lines can prove they can safely sail. I'm not sure when the no sail order expires though.
Yea guys, starting to think there is no hope for us.

I went on to take the advice of the board. Anyone who decides what is harmful (and cannot be said) or what is okay to say would be playing God, and I compared it to the media at this time.

Im afraid a lot of people with no job, no saving, no future, and false promises from the dems might feel the same as she does.

I'm a republican, my white privilege was that my parents stayed together and planned for my future. I learned the value of hard work and saving from them, and although I don't make a lot of money, I could live for approximately 1 year with no further income (and no help from my parents or the government). I am proud of that.

Far too many people will vote for a candidate based on 1 or 2 issues alone, and I'm afraid that many will not vote for the greater good.

Thanks guys, lots of good advice.

She is not from this country. And has only been here about 5 years.

I went on to say (paraphrasing) that I don't care if you lean left, but if you don't think people can't talk freely, you're not American (which she isn't) and don't understand literally the first principal that this country was founded upon.

I'm a couple drinks in, and not sure I'm getting my message across.

I was talking about the media censorship of information beneficial to the right, and her reply was that people don't have a right to say things that may be harmful to other people. I was on the freedom of speach for a while, but once again, not sure I can intelligently and effectively get my point across at this stage. Thanks in advance.
Thanks a lot. I'll check on that.

Question about capital gains

Posted by bayoubengal2007 on 7/14/20 at 7:59 pm
I've been consistently buying a few etfs over the past few months, and was curious about the capital gains tax when they are sold.

For example, let's say I buy 1 share (of the same etf) every month for 15 months. On the 16th month, if I decide to sell 1 share, will I pay the short term or long term capital gains tax? Some of the shares meet the requirements of long term, while others do not. How is it determined which rate I will owe in this case?

Thanks for the help.
