I also heard from a few people that plants were operating as well as ever.

What did this strike actually gain for the guys that were sent out? Raises ok, but it sure doesn't sound like there was an actual agreement to increase staffing levels like USW was asking for. Only an 'immediate review.' Shell should have put some more pain on USW. I don't want to go through this again in four years.

Take those issues up with BP or the other companies. I don't think Shell is going to bend. If I'm a Shell guy out striking for what the union is asking for, I'm probably pretty upset right now. In my experience, life with Shell is pretty good.

FYI - BP doesn't even own the Texas City plant anymore.
I wouldn't mind the strike dragging on. Love that strike pay.

This strike looks super weak. The union should call out more sites.
