re: LSU has zero chance against Arkansas...

The outcome of every football game depends on how you play in that game. LSU can dominate or be dominated by Arkansas, you don't know.
Are you really a fighting tiger (fan) of LSU?
Posted by Partiger on 11/10/14 at 12:29 pm
I have seen LSU teams fight hard and stay competitive even when they get bad breaks but fans? Many leave the stadium early as soon as they don't like something. I have seen fans who stay in rain and snow to support their teams who are 1-9. Aren't fans supposed to display the same attitude they expect from players? There are people who immediately relate any adversity in a single game to the coaching staff and the program as a whole. The law of transitivity does not apply to football games and strange events happen in football games that affects the outcome of football games every week. Get up, dust off, and get ready for the next game if you expect players to do the same; that is what sports are supposed to be all about anyway.

I say check Obama care before you do that.
What happens if AJ doesn't throw the INT before half time?

Bama is simply coached better
Of all the things you could relate to LSU's loss this couldn't be further from the truth. Without a QB and a bunch of young players LSU outplayed Alabama for 59 minutes and what happened at the end had little to do with Saban.
Will LSU move to spread offense?
Posted by Partiger on 11/10/14 at 9:08 am
In his post game comments Saban said LSU plays old school football meaning 70s offense. He said Alabama recruited to build a team for that kind of football because that is how it used to be in SEC but with spread and read option offenses it is hard to play that brand of football. It looks like Alabama offense is in transition to spread offense. I think until LSU adopts a new offensive philosophy we won't see BH as preferred QB because AJ is sufficient for the type of offense Miles wants to run. What do you think?
Read Saban's post game comments. He said LSU (and Bama) have old school mentality with 70s philosophy. Spread offense has made that system obsolete. As long as Miles stays with that system he does not need a QB better than AJ.
I don't know how they rank Alabama above 5 teams below them. Because of their performance vs Arkansas and LSU?

Luck plays a big role

A lot of people blame or credit coaches for the outcome of a game but luck plays a big role. When Arkansas fumbles the ball on the 1 yard line or mishandles the snap for a cheap FG and loses the game by one is that because Saban planned it all the way? How about the way Ole Miss lost to Auburn? Relax and don't project too much into the future because of the outcome of a game. LSU lost the game but played very well with less.
Actually, a win by LSu would have been worse for the future because Miles would never abandon 70s style.

Does the team give up?
No, only fans give up. Every football game is independent of what happened in the past, otherwise, Miss State would never beat LSU. Players know this and all the talks about relating what happened in the past to what will happen in the future is just losers mentality.
Next year is going to be great if Miles start playing Harris now.

There is just something about this loss that's extra painful
Ole Miss loss to Auburn was worse. Except for the last minute LSU exceeded my expectations.
Just think about it. If Alabama outplayed LSU for 59 minutes and LSU won at the end, there would be a lot of people here who say we were dominated and got lucky by the personal foul penalty and how lucky Miles is.

We beat them at every aspect of the game and find a way to lose. It's maddening
It is called conservative mentality. When you are an underdog you go for it.
It is just one game and LSU played really well without a QB and with young players. Some of you make too much out of it. Lets build on this and try to improve. If anything it is Bama that should be worried about its performance. They have no excuse to play like this, lose to Ole Miss and played like they did vs Arkansas.
re: Is it all Jennings' fault?

AJ has limited abilities and for that reason it is better to play Harris for next year.

So can Jennings.
I know but he won't. I just think if Harris is in the game the running game will be more effective.
Harris is necessary to make the game plan a little unpredictable, otherwise, it would be very tough. Also, Harris can run.

he'll progress going into 2015
Then so will LSU.
