Trolling motor on Kayak

So I got a trolling motor as a gift for my kayak. I've heard that you need to get your kayak registered once you put a trolling motor on it. Does anyone know if this is true? Also what would the process be? I bought it used so I do not have any of the original paperwork.
Thanks!

Every trade should be looked at, any questionable drops should be questioned.
There are two people in my league with my same first name. I got a text intended for the other John in my league. "Sign on at 11:00 and drop him, I'm first waiver so it won't be an issue."
If you are playing for "fun" with $200 and think others are doing the same, then it sounds like you are ignorant.

There is a way to make videos private. Sign up with YouTube and upload a test video and try it out. If you "Sign Out" and try to load it you can make sure the average person cannot see it.
re: can someone help me out regarding epub vs mobi vs PDF?

Certain Devices take certain formats. I find that PDFs are always the worse. The good news is, you can convert book formats using this software and put the book in whatever format you want (or that your reader will accept)

I told them I would pay the cost for the last 1/10 of a mile, but they said I would have to pay for the full 6/10
I've thought about bribing the repair guy $500 bucks if he could make some magic happen. But I havent been able to catch him on my road.

When I bought my Land, charter said that service was available at my location. Once I ordered service they came out and I am 0.6 miles to the nearest line run. They said they could only run up to 0.5 miles, but I could pay for it to be run which is between $2,000 - $10,000 dollars.
I've tried several times over the last 5 years with no success, in fact they removed my entire street from their available service.
Does anyone have experience trying to get a company to run lines? What works? Petitions? Letters? Etc?
We have phone lines run by AT&T, but no available DSL in the area.
I'm a systems admin for my job, and its really inconvenient having to use wifi hotspot for everything.

How loud is it? Seems like a 22 with primer only would be quieter.
It is a little quieter than a basketball thrown at pavement (closet analogy I could come up with). I have not experienced a sound barrier crack yet, but I think that's because of the quality of the ammo the guy provided me. I'm sure regular lead rounds will sound about like a 22lr going off in that regard.

so,did you get a 22 or 177?
It is a .177, I was more interested in FPS and penetration than leaving a whelp. You can get ammo that expands pretty nasty once it impacts.
Keep in mind, this will destroy the cat. (Maybe its exactly what you need). Winchester 22lr ammo's box says it travels at 1280FPS.
Granted this is a smaller load, it will still expand and plink around inside off of bones at 1200 FPS.

With 22lr rounds so scarce I decided to buy one for whatever may try to make my chickens disappear.
Bought one used yesterday, these things have changed since I was little. I compared the damage to a coke can between it and my 10/22 and could hardly tell a difference. I also pushed it through a 3/4 inch piece of plywood. Thrilled
:dude:
Is it wabbit season yet?

You may be aware of this, but rigor mortis doesn't last forever. It goes away after 1/2 to 1 day, usually. Then the rabbit is floppy again.
Assuming this is true, it had been a few days since they checked on the rabbit. Then only conclusion that can logically be reached is starvation. Case closed.

re: Teach me about chickens - laying hens
Posted by DillHole3315 on 7/21/14 at 11:12 am to Salmon
I have had chickens for a few years now. You cannot compare the eggs to the 1.50 a dozen.
The eggs them selves are a higher quality. I noticed a huge difference, they are comparable in taste and texture to the free-range eggs that run about 4 or 5 a dozen.
As far as smell, get a movable chicken coop and move it once a week. Any definable area you can provide them they will destroy all the grass, no matter how large. Once the grass is gone, there is nothing left but mud and chicken sh*t and that smells after a rain.
For noise, if you get a rooster (you cannot tell what you are getting when they are chicks) they can be loud in the mornings. Also if you got bad luck and get two roosters, be prepared to kill one off or they will be covered in each others blood everyday by the time they are a year old.
I've enjoyed having mine, but you do have to be ok with killing them yourself every now and again. Once they get older, they begin to eat the eggs of your hens that are actually laying. On the bright side, they older laying hens go great in a gumbo.
If you are not ok with killing them yourself, someone on here or craigslist will gladly take them off your hands once you are done with them.

re: looking to buy a used ascend FS12T or FS128T

To give you an idea on price, I bought a used 2012 FS12T model for $300 a few months ago. It was in decent condition, missing the dry storage lid.
I would try to get a the newer model with the flat bottom though, the stability of the V style leaves much more to be desired. I feel like I can hardly get to my front storage w/o having to worry.
I thought it was a pretty good deal, or else I would of saved up and got a K12. This got me on the water sooner though.
Good luck!
