Just booked my flights for Chicago. I'm still debating on whether to go to Columbia or not. It has been awhile since I have seen a show at the Merriweather
I'll be there with a few friends. Most likely upstairs.
It looks like he's drinking a woman's whiskey so I doubt it was much of a gator tail.

Kids these days :casty:

I can agree with this.

Definitely this.

Close but no

Travis/Haan>Fishman
yeah no.

I will say that I like what SCI brings to the table having multiple different styles and sounds at each show. But there isn't a better 4-piece band out there doing what Phish is doing. Their style may be lacking a bunch of variety but they are consistently great. I'm really liking how they are starting off this tour and can't wait for the southern shows and Dick's
Ah yes. The ever popular discussion on what was the best year of Phish. Here's my favorites for 1.0

Great stuff. Still doesn't match up to the end of the 1997 year

11/17/97 - As previously stated, the most fun I have ever had at a single concert. Started off with a funky Tweezer, a sick Ghost and a dirty second set Jesus Just Left Chicago

11/22/97 - Halley's>Tweezer is just fantastic

12/2-12/3 - Wild Philly run

12/5/97 - Amazing Julius>Slave

12/06/97 - Tweezer>Izabella (Arguably the nastiest funk jam Phish has ever done)

12/07/97 - This 2 day run is legendary

12/11/97 - DWD>Maze, Ghost>DWD in the second set

12/30/97 - One of the best NYE run shows of all time. Also one of the msot fricked up I have ever gotten at a show. I probably needed to go to the hospital. But of course my friends pulled the "Nah man you're fine" line. But that is a story for another day. Anyways, what a great Sally to start off the show then bringing it back in the encore just to transition into Frankenstein. Pretty hilarious I'm Gonna Be cover as well.

Great show. I was unable to go to this one and have regretted it ever since. 1999 was a great year. It's no 1994 or 1997 but still a great year for Phish. The best show of 1999 was also the last show of 1999. I still consider Big Cypress as one of the most fun Phish festivals I have ever been to. 12/31/99 was off the charts! That Tweezer?!
Phish at the McNichols Arena in '97.

My crew and I rolled into the lot early that afternoon in our dark green '89 Dodge Caravan. The scene was pretty gnarly. It was a complete free-for-all (or at least it was where our van was) When it came showtime we all headed in with a bag full deems and cheese. By that point we were already pretty tossed form the lot so we decided to not pace ourselves. At some point during Circus some deranged looking wook monster offered me some kitty. I was fricked. The show itself was hands down one of the greatest I had ever seen them play and the substances made it that much wilder.

Nothing like seeing a band you love with the people you love on a frickload of drugs you love

WSP SUX

 But seriously, I don't mind them. They aren't anywhere near what they were when Mikey died (RIP) but if they are playing nearby I will go see them just to go get fricked up with my friends. This past Halloween was a good time, from what I remember. I will pretty much go see any band if it means I can get throwed, as sad as that sounds

No, I couldn't think of anything original so I stole one off of Phantasy Tour. I do post on there though.

But my friend told me about TigerDroppings not too long ago so I've been checking it out. You guys have some pretty funny conversations about music so I figured I would jump in and join the groove.
I do a lot of drugs and work a dead end job.

But at least I won't miss the next show

I've always wondered how much truth there is to that story. All that stuff about the Hell's Angels just doesn't seem likely. Cactus has always given me the creeps though. Phenomenal bass player, but huge creeper.

Just finished listening to Fuego for the 3rd time. Overall it is a good album, but at the same time it's just the studio album. I'm really excited to see how they implement new jams into them at their shows.

I've seen countless Phish shows since my first in '94 but haven't been to one in about 3 years just because they are all starting to morph together it seems like. However, Fuego has me intrigued to see how the album reflects on their performances. I'm looking forward to Oak Mountain and the Dick's run.

See you wooks there
