Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia spoke with reporters at the NFL Combine last week and revealed some of the advice that he has received from his friend and mentor Johnny Manziel.
quote:

“He’s giving me what to look out for, what it’s like, how to stay in the process,” Pavia said. “And, you know, he’s given me some good advice, for sure. And he always reaches out, too, checks up on me, makes sure I’m good, and he just, like, he’s just a friend to me, you know? And so he’s giving me some mentorship. He’s been around me; he’s been around my family. He’s just a great person for those who really don’t know him.”

I can’t think of anyone else I’d less like to get advice from concerning being prepared for something.

Of all the people I would not like to get advice from, Manziel is king of that mountain.

If I’m a franchise decision-maker about to drop millions of dollars on a QB, do you think it would help advising me that you’re getting your advice from Johnny Manziel? Talk about pissin’ in your chili.
