Former Texas and Washington wide receiver Johntay Cook has committed to Syracuse out of the transfer portal.
Cook, a former five-star prospect from DeSoto, Texas, caught 16 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns over the last two seasons at Texas.
He transferred to Washington on Dec. 28 but parted ways with the Huskies program on Jan. 15.
Back in February, Cook was arrested in Fort Worth for interfering with public duties and theft of property valued at more than $100, according to multiple reports.
