Matt Leinart Debates If Arch Manning Can Lead Texas To National Championship

Fox Sports College Football analyst Matt Leinart appeared on "The Ryen Russillo Podcast" recently and discussed whether Arch Manning could lead Texas to a National Championship this season.
As of now, Leinart doesn't think he can pull it off. Per Athlon Sports:

quote:Manning made his first SEC start on Saturday vs. Mississippi State and passed for 324 yards and two touchdowns in the Longhorns 35-13 win.
"I'm not sure they can," Leinart said. "Make no mistake about it: Quinn Ewers will be responsible for them winning a national championship when it's all said and done. I'm not sure Arch is ready, and maybe he can get there, but I think that's Quinn's team."
