Former Grand Valley State defensive tackle Josh Schell committed to Tennessee out of the transfer portal on Tuesday.

Schell recorded 35 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, six pass deflections, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery last season at Grand Valley State.

He entered the NCAA transfer portal on April 17 and received interest from several programs, including Tennessee, UCF, SMU, and Kentucky.

Now, he's headed to Knoxville, where he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
