“After the ball is spotted by officials, No. 7 for Texas A&M goes to the ground, creating the appearance of an injury,” the SEC statement said. “Just prior to the player going down, a Texas A&M staff member can be seen in the video standing in the team area near the 25-yard line signaling demonstratively to the player, pointing to the ground. It was noted that the Texas A&M player had no contact during the play and returned to the game on the second play of the ensuing defensive possession.”

I agree it's egregious, but I'd wait to elect to eject the coach, hurting the players and the game outcome but I've said for years as GobyGator somewhat said that the player is out until the defense is on the field NEXT time around. Then let's see how many "impact" players play hurt.

Good. A&M under Jimbo was blatant about this. In 2021 against Bama they literally had a player down after every other play and these appeared to be career threatening injuries only to have them run back out a play later. There were plays in that game where it looked like players would talk to each other to decide who was gonna tear an ACL.
