With SEC going to 9 conference games, the POD system is perfect.
4 pods
Each team plays the three schools in their POD and plays a rival out of the other pods, and then 3 non-rivals out of a rotating cross-pod. The team from the two PDS playing each other with the best record goes to the SCCCG.

It all has to do with TV contracts and ND/NBC contract. ABC/ESPN won't budget on any of it. The big 12s contract with espn and fox is more liberal with new partnerships.

The 4 thru 6 BIG teams are going to beat the SECs 6 thru 8 teams and BiG will claim victory.

He did the crime he has to pay the time. Simple solution moving forward is things like this should have to be put in the transfer portal database even after player transfers. Schools should check for it regularly. It should bot be up to the former school to inform new school it should be up to NCAA to inform player.

Stoops and Kentucky was one of the biggest offenders of the fake injury.
I wish they would have thought a little more out of the box. A player goes out due to injury and he has to stay out until the ball changes hands or a time out is used. If siad player comes in with out the above statements it is a 15 yard unsportmen like penalty. In close games no coach is going to risk losing any decent player for a whole series.

Regular season last year the SEC was 20-10 vs the other power 4 conferences. The BiG was 15-12 vs them.
Unless it is CFP post season does mean squat anymore.
