Where to go next?

In the last couple years I have been to Belize, Mexico, Iceland, Italy, and Paris coming up in 2 weeks. I am already looking to plan our next vacation but not really sure where we want to go. I want to see everything, so sell me on somewhere to go. I'm thinking somewhere in Asia. Would love for there to be street food and always down for a great deal. What say the Travel Board. Wheres the new hot spot for 2018-2019?
ETA: not opposed to somewhere even in the US. I have seen 42 of the states, but the S/O has only got to travel with me the last 3 years. Prior to that she had only been to Cali. We will be going to Colorado in July for a long weekend.

Singapore. The hawker centers are street food times a million, with all kinds of cross cultural stuff going on.

Bali, Vietnam, Laos, Tokyo, Thailand

Have you been to those? I am very interested in Thailand. Lots of good deals to be had and once you’re there it’s fairly cheap. Also Tokyo is on the shortlist but a little more pricy.

Anyone care to share reasons why these places?

Argentina?
Self evident. It’s cheap. Fantastic beef and wines. Patagonia. Grasslands. The Andes mountains.

Didn’t know if you had any specifics. I am definitely down for all those you mentioned tho!

Haven’t been there yet. It’s high on my list. I do know an Argentinian or two though.

I know a couple of people that are world travelers. Each of them has told me that New Zealand is their favorite place. My college roommate is a doctor that spent a year down there, and the pics that he sent from there were amazing.

Asia is a lot bigger of a commitment for someone in the south or really any of the states as far as time goes. You are talking almost a full 24 hours if not more on flights each way, plus jet lag. So a 2 week trip is different then somewhere in the states.
As said, South America. Tons of great places.
Hawaii
Seattle/ PNW
Boston/ New England

Travelling that far definitely takes some time, but if 2 weeks is not enough, how would most people ever go? I would consider 2 weeks to be long vacation.
OP, how much time do you have and what kind of budget are you looking at? All of my trips in Asia were either pricey locations or places that I would not recommend, regardless of the low cost. I've never been to Thailand/Vietnam/Cambodia and those are up on my list.

This suggestion would be high on my list.

I think all in it was about $12k for a two week trip.

Poor wording on my part. I was simply saying I personally wouldn't go to Asia for under 2 weeks, too long of flights. OP said he was open to any trip, I was simply saying there's a difference between planning a 2 week vacation and planning a US weekend trip. So he would be best served letting us know the time frame he was looking to go. Time of year matters too as some places are considerably different during different seasons.

10 days is what I like to usually shoot for, for any vacation. Id like to stay around 5-6k.

South America is always overlooked - Ecuador is over the top gorgeous. EC uses the American Dollar, travel is cheap from US & safe.

Peru? Visit Machu Picchu while your still young enough. A beautiful experience to see these ruins.
