Thinking about planning a trip next spring. Maybe a little spring training but definitely beach and pool time. Looking for beach reccs, hotels, and or Air bnbs. Definitely on the water.

I'm in Marco Island, 30 minutes or so from Naples. Been here insurance adjusting for almost 2 months. We have a condo rented on the beach, it is really nice and not a lot of the 20 year old all night partying.

Ft. Myers. Twins and Red Sox about a hundred golf courses within 50 miles. If you come let me know, will play some golf.

The only easy day was. Yesterday

Definitely go closer to Naples rather than St. Pete. Much nicer the further south you go. St. Pete is nice, but if you're coming from a far distance it's definitely worth the extra 2 hour or so drive down there...They also have a "cruise" ship out of Ft Myers that will take you down to Key West. Can stay down there a night or two and it brings you back to Ft Myers. Haven't done it yet, but heard it's pretty cool. It's called the Key West Express. They say it's about a 2-3 hour ride down there I believe.

Thanks to all. That boat from Ft Myers to the Keys looks pretty damn cool. And I’ve never been there. May have to check it out.

Sanibel / Captiva Island

Boca Granda

Those are the best beaches in Florida and have the best, low-key atmosphere.

Boca Grande Beach Club is amazing.

Marco Island is very nice, we stay at the Marriott there every few years.

Boca Grande/Englewood is tarpon-fishing central around April. Really awesome to see big fish in shallow water...
